ya i have 6:40 rehersals for marching band every morning and yes like you said it is tiring but its worth it. and every week at least once a week we have to be there at 6:00 for sectionals. i had band camp from 8 am to 11 am then i had a 1 hr and 15min lunch break then we had rehearsal from 12:15 to 4:15 and then we had it from 6:30 to 8 pm. long day but we had a majority of the show done within the first 3 days. band is going great for me. my huge crush for 2 and 1/2 years is in band too and he knows i like him but he doesn't really care and he plays trumpet and can be very annoying when he is teasing me constasntly. during the marching band season i play tenor sax and during concert band season i play the alto sax. we have our first compition in marshal town on the 18 so i am exicited for that. our show is rhapsody and it is really cool so i can't wait until we have the full show planned out. what is your halftime/comptition show?

Hey, sorry I haven't commented back in a while!! Anyways, that is super cool Smile School is going pretty excellent. I think I have a shot of having all A's this year if my grades keep going the way they are going now!! Laughing
Also, oh boy let me try to think about all the clubs I am in, lol, let's see:
Volunteering club, Drama, creative writing, tennis, spanish, and maybe this other club that has kids talk about politics and stuff, not sure yet Smile What about you? How is school going? You in any clubs?

woah, im 13 (in eighth grade) and i live in illinois too! i think that you are doing field shows, because they always have 3 parts/songs. You guys are probably competing in the MACBDA competition. Do you march into formations and stuff on the field?

I totally agree with you about marching band. It should be counted as a sport. I mean, you have to be fit and you need to work as a team. What instrument do you play?

Oh that's good. what do you do in keyboarding class? just learn how to type? lol Also, omgsh our lunches ar the same way!! Smile I have b lunch and though i love all the people i sit with i really don't like how i have to be interrupted in class to go into lunch, you know? It like breaks my focus, haha. and that is exciting!! just remember to wear the retainer as much as they tell you too!! You don't want your teeth to move and have to ahve braces again! LOL Also, our first football game was yesterday too!!! We won!!! WOOOOOOOO! Laughing Laughing

thx for checking up on me Smile my back has started to become very painful. sometimes i feel like i have to just stick in one place or ill be in too much pain- it hurts rlly badly but instead of complaining im trying to do some exercises tht might help. ur advice has rlly helped me along and i thank u so much for tht- its rlly comforting to no tht somebody has felt this and tht im not going crazy Tong i get out of school this thursday! so excited! are u having fun with ur vacation?

My sister has scoliosis and she's getting the surgery soon. She's been wearing the brace for 2 years now, and it's not helping. The curve is REALLY REALLY big though, and it curves in toward the heart (left side and out too. We have the best surgeon in Western Canada though, so that makes my parents feel better. It's comforting to know that someone else went through it too though (I read some of your other comments...) So thanks!
