He does sound like a great guy! I personally don't think he is too old for you, and it looks like he likes you back from what you said Smile As for your friends, that's strange that they say different things about him... Maybe you should talk with them and ask them if they have a reason for advising you not to like him anymore, then you can decide if you should ask him out or not. It does sound that you'd be great together and I don't think he'll refuse because of the age difference ;)
