Hey @serenitybaum! I am very happy to see you joined Style Advice! And thanks so much for posting about it on your club! I saw that you said you wanted a custom position... I only have one small problem. Ok the person who I have as V.P. @maksquirt she's one of my besties! I origanlly made the club so the two of us could post style tips together, stuff like that. Well.right now at the moment I'm not wanting to give out any spots. I'm really sorry if that got you upset or something! But if I ever change my mind, I would totally consider you a spot! Hey i see ur homeschooled im too so i have this bigg prob i was wondering if u could help me out. So im in 8th grade and next year my moms putting me in real school and ive homeschooled all my life. While since i can remember ive always looked in the answer book if i ha a hard time with something now that im gonna in school next year i think i might have a really hard time. Is there any way i can stop cheating without telling anyone????
My reply:
Well, you should probably get the teachers books out of your way first. Put them in a room, then go to another room or your room and try to do the work as well as you can. If you can't figure something out, just skip it, then at the end come back to it and try again. You can ask your mom for help, if she is the one who teaches you (my mom does the mail teaching thing for me.). In my teacher books, they explain how to do the step. You can try reading this a few times, and doing a few practice runs. Is the cheating thing in all subjects? Try studying. I always get really stressed before my tests, except in math. In math, I use Math-U-See, and if I am having a problem with something I read the teacher book or go online to their practice sheet generator.
In science, they have a study guide for me. (Apologia Science)
In history, I read the chapter over a few times then underline things I think might be important, then I go over them a few times. (Story of the World)
In Language Arts, they have a section were I check off what I remember how to do, and what I don't I review. (Christian Light Education)
You might want to tell a friend about your problem, and see if she can help. Just try as hard as you can not to use the teacher book, and reward yourself when you do something without the teacher book.
