Hmm....I've never heard that. Usually girls ages 8-11 aren't recommended to purchase pointe shoes because they're ankles are not strong enough.

Pointe, if you are allowed to get pointe shoes (I got mine when I was 11 or 12) is hard at first, but very fun. Lyrical requires a lot of balance and stamina, but it's one of the prettiest types of dance. Talk to your instructor about trying out a class for an hour or so. Do you go to dance competitions??

I mostly watches sports too. I'm alright in basketball and volleyball, and I run faster than most people, but that's pretty much it. I'm having a lot of problems in ballet. Hip-hop and jazz was so much easier for me. Maybe it's b/c I'm a bit uncoordinated haha.

i know same here. i'm 14 and christmas is whatever now. like im still excited but not as much as i was when i was your age. lol i would've been bouncing off the walls. i dunno what i want this year. i just mainly want clothes make up shoes and purses. maybe a camera? doesn't matter.

I used to have a dog but we had to put her to sleep so they( 'rents) know i can work with them it's just i wasn't really that responsible back then but now i'm so much more responsible and so yeah. It's complicated.

yeah i get what you mean. haha to the guys i've always been a really chill chick friend that they like to flirt with. i've always been best friends with them and stuff so it was like hard to get a boyfriend in 7th and 8th bcuz of them. but it was whatever and this year. . . ugh just once you get in high school the boys dont really mature but they're more open about who they like. in 6th grade i wasn't "allowed" to have a boyfriend. like i didn't tell my parents but they thought it was stupid to go out with a guy that young but my mom did it too haha Smile i talk to my mom about like everything so i'm not afraid to bring that stuff up. my mom doesn't mind now as much as she used to but i don't want a boyfriend now and my friends keep trying to push me into one. ya know what i mean?

see thats what i like-everyones equal. in the morning i just throw on whatever! see i live in canada and catholic schools are free or same as public. but we have to buy the uniform. the shoes must be black only. so that sucks. but i dont mind. i still love fashion and use funky bags and jewelery instead. it makes it more of a challenge and a reward!

ahww i'm sorry! Frown i know how you feel with friendships. i have the best friends but i get in the worst fights with them. but thankfully i've met great people who from the moment i've met them i could tell were going to be true friends Smile
i started dating in 6th grade. i hate that term "dating" we were just going out. it was just fun. it was a summer thing that really went no where except now the guy is one of my best friends Smile
i've only had like 3 boy friends. my first was for a week. 2nd was for a month and the last was like a day. i don't consider them real boyfriends but i don't know? i don't wanna be stuck in a relationship but i want one at the same time lol! some "lucky" guy is going to get stuck with me haha! but i would've had my first boyfriend in 3rd grade but i was too embarassed about it so i said no. ((it was so cute! he offered me a necklace and everything)) Smile haha! have you had a boyfriend?

it was soo much fun! that's when i became best friends with my best guy friends! and even tho we go to different high schools we're still best friends and talk and text.

Hey np! and you didn't already tell me that! i actually want to lve in NY. i only live a couple of hours away! where i live most people where jeans and sweatshirts! I try to mix it up wearing that one day and a cute cardigen with a skirt the next! sadly i have to where a uniformFrown but i love dress down days! everyone wears their best outfit! anyways i try to wear funky belts, scarves, shoes and jewelery with my uniform to at least make it fashion forward!

Hey thanks for the advice. I will use it. But the problem the "friend" I have used to be my best friend. And she still is..kinda. Its just other girls have proven to be better and there for me. THe other girl and I have been bff since 2nd grade. and I don't want to lose her but she doesn't fit in with my other friends because all she thinks is about is the older guys. So I stopped sitting with her. Mainly because she transformed one of the nicest girls in my grade to be JUST like her. And they never include you in the convo. And now she is all like "Why are you mad at me??" And I walked past her at lunch to dump my tray and she was talking about me. So I really don't know what to do. Plus she gets our English teacher involved in all of ur problems because I tell my boyfriend whats wrong with me and he gets mad at her. What to do??
