Anybody have a crush, but they don't know how to approach? Anybody have questions about their body, but feel embarrassed (or shy) to ask anyone? Is anybody going somewhere, but don't know what to wear? Anyone have family probs but don't know how to solve 'em? COME TO ME!

you should find more friends who seem nice and outgoing and share your common interest like a sport or club. usually its easy to find people to be friends with but it can be hard to approach them. If they're wearing something that looks really cute tell the person how much you like it. Or just walk past and say hi. As for the mean girls you need to tell them that they can not talk to you that way in a strong confident voice and then walk away. It you show them even a tiny bit of fear they will never respect you. Learn to love yourself and soon you won't care as much what others think.

hi i have the exact same problem as you except im 5''8 so im heavier but im changing that i pack my own lunch to go to school so i portion control and i work extra hard in gym so i sweat and on weekends i run on a treadmill or exercize by watching a health channel and following that workout. we can do this if we both try i promise!!!! my motivater is fitting comfortably in a size 8 jeans the same as my sis so ill feel confident in highschool

First, just stop saying the word fat. It just isn't a good word to call yourself. If you have any good friends, excersize with them. There is nothing like a bit of encouragement when you really need it. And if you don't, find a buddy on this website. Don't give out any information obviously, but get some motivation.

Oh yeah- when I say Stregth Training, besides lifting weights thats anything that tones muscles like exercises for abs, thighs, biceps, etc.

Hey girl! You say you want to eat healthy, but love Chipotle. I recommend getting the book Eat This, Not That! It's really great for trying to find healthy foods at lots of restaurants

For Chipotle, some of the things it recommends are:
Crispy Steak Tacos with tomato salsa and romaine lettuce
1/2 Chicken Burrito with black beans, salsa verde, cheese, and romaine lettuce
Burrito Bowl with pinto beans, carnitas, green salsa, and lettuce

The bad things about these though is that they are still loaded with sodium, like everything at Chipotles. Remember to drink lots of water!

Also, always opt for crispy taco shells, and try to avoid sour chips, cream, and cheese.

Also, Chipotle, isn't a very healthy restaurant, so eat there sparingly (I know it's hard, it's so delicious!)

Some things you definitely don't want to eat are the Vegetarian Soft Tacos (with black beans, tomato salsa, guacamole, and cheese) or the Chicken Salad. They are actually loaded with fat and tonsss of sodium!

Other tips for stay healthy:
Exercise! Cardio (running, dancing, jogging, etc.) for 2 days a week, strength training (lifting weights, etc.) for 3 other days a week.

Drink plenty of water.

Set goals that are realistic but will push you

Make good, healthy food choices. Make sure you're getting 3 square meals a day. Look for healthy recipes online, in books, and on GL

hey i saw ur problem on one of ur comments. u shouldnt be worried about losin a ton of weight ur still growing! u shud just be focused on being healthy and along with that, ur body will change and congradulate u for giving it the right nutrients. just make sure to eat healthy foods and do a little cardio and toning exercises three times a week, and stay AWAY from those unhealthy starvations and over workouts in desperate need to lower ur weight in one day cuz they do not work. if u want to no if ur at a healthy weight, search the word bmi on google and go to one of those websites where they ask you ur height and weight and whether its healthy or not.
and remember, it aint bout ur appearance, its about ur health.

Hey girly!!!! i think its great that you care about your health, but i think it goes something like this. U shud drink at the LEAST 7 cups of water a day, AND u shud also eat salad before you eat ALWAYS.
Also, I had the same problem when i was little, and i started doing crunches, and i got a flat stomach in less then TWO WEEKS!!!!! And you shud do 40 crunches in the morn and 40 in the night!!! Contact me if you need help!!

i would check my BMI and it will tell you it your overweight and by how much and set a goal, eat salads they can be really good with enough toppings

-Hi. You could try joining a school sports team. Keep up with the workouts and keep on trying.

-Spend 30 min. each day either doing yoga, Wii Fit, jumping jacks, or whatver fun exercises you like.

-Eat healthy. When you're hungry, grab a quick bite to eat. My favorite? Fresh smoothies. You can buy frozen fruits at the grocerie store, and put them all together in a blender. Yum!

-Record what you eat. It's important to know what you're putting into your body each day. Plus, it will tell you what you need to do to eat better the next day.

-Go to bed early. Sleep is very important for your body's health. You will have a lot more energy the next day.

-Keep up. A lot will be coming your way, but always be prepared. (You might wonder what this has to do with weight loss. Stress causes you to snack more. Remember the smoothies!)

-Wait for the changes. What other people say is not as important as how you feel about yourself. If you're following these simple tips, then you're being the best you can be. Weight loss takes time, so don't push yourself too far.

-Make a 2010 resolution. Say that you will follow these steps.

hey girl! i saw ur comment on "Get Your Best Skin Ever". the only reason those kids tease you is because they dont feel good about themselves. I say exercise!!! get yourself into a routine. after school take a nice jog. get an exercise dvd, put on ur fav tunes, and work out a li'l! dance around in your room. as for the food, go to chipotles, but dont feel obligated to finish the meal! automatically get a half or a quarter or whatever wrapped up to go. u prob wont see results right away, but after a couple weeks u prob will. good luck!!!!!! comment back and ask me anything!

Hey! Maybe try not to eat out so much, make your own meals instead. Also maybe try not to have so many snacks every day, just breakfast lunch and dinner. Also have a big breakfast, and smaller lunch and dinner. Also try having salads. You can make them yummy by putting different dressings on them and adding tomatoes, croutons, dried cranberries, etc. Oh and try a new sport! You'll have fun, meet new friends, get a new hobby, and be exercising at the same time! Hope this helped. Smile
