Ya! Absolutely! If your really nervous, do a lot of deep breathing. That should help your nerves a little. Remember to do a warm up run before your race (maybe just a 5 to 7 minute run). Then remember to stretch a few minutes before your race like doing, leg swings, walking on your heels, and other preventatives. During your race remember to try to stay at a steady pace. And after your race do a 5 to 7 minute run cool down. And remember to fun! Hope this helps. Let me know how you do on your race.

hey girly! no im not doing bball. the only skool sports i do is cheerleading. im not really good at the "guy" sports, like football and bball and stuff. im better at like, the "girl" sports, like gymnastics, (even tho i dont do gymnastics, im still pretty flexible from taking dance in my early years) volleyball and cheer. im naturally good at sports and stuff, but im not like, ready to play 4 a team and stuff. like, 4 bball, i can throw a pretty good free throw and can dribble it and stuff, but in gym class, im the worst one on my team. so, yeah. but they have a powderpuff fball team 4 girls next year in high skool, so i might do that, cuz all my friends from cheer r doing it. but im gona b a freshman next year, and i think its only 4 seniors. ♥forever and always,

Ya, i think that im going to do it next year too. Im really starting to like it so i probably will. On my track meet on Tuesday, i got last, but i shaved 5 seconds off my last run, so im proud of myself. lol. do you think you'll do track next year? And how about cross country?
