& ugh, my dad came over to visit. it was fine, until he asked me to walk him to his car, made me talk to him in the FREEZING cold, it was late, and i still had homework & had to shower. i was up late, didnt get to study for my test, showered late, & now im really sick. so im really mad at him. but i got accepted into the high school of my choice!

I am so aggravated at my mom. She kept on calling me overweight and stuff and I got mad and wanted to prove her wrong and I got my BMI and I need to be 18 pounds thinner just to be on the line of healthy weight! I wanted to cry. All my mother does is insult me and I'm sick of it. I can't wait to decide who I live with bcuz then I am choosing my gram. I am sick of her! Grrr. Gtg or my mom is gonna shoot me. Bye!

heey, i got a free ride(: but it's hard. and we have a weird teacher who we reported to the vice principal, and she's not coming back. im happy, yet i kinda feel bad for her. oh, well

and that's not kool that's good, ur not overweight at all. my moto: ur not fat, ur just CURVY! (the best dancers aren't the skinniest!) i can only imagine how you feel. have you ever just tried sitting down and talking to your mom or something? i know it's not THAT easy, but have you ever just tried to slow down, take a deep breath, and ask her if u guyz cud talk? try telling her that u dont feel good when she calls you that. tell her: instead of calling me names, help me out or something. idk. something to make her realize that saying that is bad.

Hey there! I saw yur comment about periods and swimming. The MOD replied and said that yu could use pads in the water, but I disagree!! Yu *must* wear tampons in the water. Pads will inflate the second you step into the water, and unless yur wearing board shorts, the edges will stick out of the sides of yur swimsuit bottoms. I was scared of tampons for a loooong time, but then I got my period the night before a swim meet and had to figure it out FAST. Once yu start using tampons, yu'll probably want to make the switch for good. It's SOOO much easier!! A tampon is invisible through yur swimsuit, won't come out, won't leak and after a while, yu don't notice it's there. Hope this helped! thats not good. i think u shud go to a doctor about it. thats no reasong to be quiet. try making new friends at school. join clubs. go to events. make friends outside of school. that way you can have a fresh start and mayb ppl wont judge u. maybe this is just a sad phase. i think things will get better(:

me too, i have a book i have to read and do summaries on. its The Book Thief. seems like a good book so i think i'll be ok. hahah yeah same here! i have been slowly growing and maintaining my weight, so it really balances out. haha thats nice(: im a lil chubbster so im trying to loose it all thru softball(: haha and about summer, i meant leaving skool. im guna be an eighth grader tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!! AGH!?!?!?! im so excited! yet im super scared. :}

I read your comment. I've been feeling better nowadays. My mom found out about my issue and she confronted me and told me she bawled on her way to work. If my issue is making my family this sad, Its not worth it. Just imagine how depressed your family would be if you went through with your problem. Im much better now and I realized that my life is perfect just the way it is. Thank you for your help. I can still help you if you'd like and I still don't know if im 100% better. Thanks again!

That sounds like a tuff situation to be in, but its nice that you are being a good friend. Trying to make someones self esteem higher without saying something can be hard, giving her compliments is a small but effective way. If you think that her hair is pretty one day tell her that, if you like her outfit tell her that you like her outfit, etc. Thats a good way to help higher her self-esteem. Another way is to support and encourage her with her hobby or passion. If she doesn't have one then try to help her find one, a non-noticeable way to say it is too bring up something like a dance class or acting group or something like that and do it with her, that way she can find something that makes her feel good about herself I act and I know that is one of the things that makes me feel good about myself. Good luck girlie! And if you ever need anymore advice I am right here!

Hey,
well you could do a geometric bob that falls at the jawline, but something less drastic would be if you cut your hair into layers. With the layers, you could get a side part with bangs that meet at your cheeckbones. And for your eyes, you could get a green or light brown colored eyeshadow.
