Hey- as for singing a solo, if u can cary a tune and can tell when tou are singing flat then you are ok. besides, its not the voice that matters, its ur heart. it doesnt matter to God what u sound like, as long as ur hearts right. go ahead and pour ur heart to God. as for knowing what to sing, start simple. you might want to buy an accompianiment cd or tape. a really good (and simple) song to sing is psalm 139 by rebecca st james. its so easy, not only the lyrics, but the melody. Psalm 139 -rebecca st james you search me, u know me. u see my every move. there's nothing i coud ever do 2 hide myself from you. u know my thoughts, my fears an hurts, my weaknesses and prides, you know what i am going through, and how i feel inside and even though u know u will always love me even though u know you'll never let me go i dont deserve ur love but you give it to me yes u will always love me even though u know (repeat 1x) hope that helped. Hey! That's cool you want to serve God in that way!! I am not a singer, I play flute, though...I know what you mean. I've played for my church before. 1) Have confidence! Remeber you can do all things through Jesus who strengthens you. Sometimes you just need to keep telling you that over and over. 2) Hmmm, have a favorite hymn? Try paging through the hymnal. Or, if you have favorite contemporary worship song (like "Lord I Lift Your Naame On High") sing that. Maybe you could ask the music director or someone like that at your church. Good luck!! You'll do great.

Hey! Thanks, I am not sure what Karategirl19 is talking about either, so I am just ignoring her. No one came to the meeting, so this time I am gonna do it in two weeks time an remind every board member about every 5-6 days so everyone will know about it and everything. I am gonna do a mandatory RSVP thing, and anyone who doesn't RSVP in the two weeks, may have their board position taken away. The reason for this is that when they first got chosen to be board members, they all said they went on GL everyday, now some aren't even going on once a month. And even if they have good intentions, I need active board members. The reason I said not be a member is that any information you give the site, I can see. Don't worry though, I don't ever look at it or anything! I just mean that it is there and maybe girls didn't realize that, so i just wanted them to feel safe about it, also the website I made the website through send tons and tons of e-mails once you are a member and there is no way to stop them, so that is why. If you know all this and still wanna be a member, then that is up to you. Sorry this is so long!

Your Q: I'm planning on going to homecoming this year, if I find somebody to go with. I need ideas for a dress, because most likely its going to come from a consignment shop. Color, style, length, the works... I'm about 5'2", blond hair, cut shoulder length, layers, and side bangs, I'm a bigger girl, but not obese or overweight. My A: Since your a little shorter, I would say to get a shorter dress. Have a little ruffle or something at the end to get the eyes looking down and that will make your legs look longer. Color is really your choice, but when I think blonde, I think blue. A turqoise or light blue would look really fun, yet elegant. If you wanna be really funky and out there try to get a really original dress; for this try the shop DEB. For an elegant look, try a flowy dress with a tank-top top and a shawl. Have tons of girly! Also, one of my friends mom's was recently killed. What should I do/say to her to console her, or just even talk to her? If you need more deets to help me with this one, just ask... My A: This must be really hard for her, and it's good you recognize this. Act normally around her, but make sure she knows you are a rock and will always be there for her! Tell her this gently, and if she needs a shoulder to cry on or someone to talk to, make sure she knows you're there! This is probably really hard for her, but don't go all out like asking her everyday! A little note in her locker or a gentle talk will do! Good luck! -igymnast10!

Hey, Girl! I am so sorry about your mom's friend. There's nothing you really can do for your mom except just to know that you are there for her. Let her know that you love her and that you want her to be happy. As for your dress if your style is kind of girly, go for one of those cute floral dresses with those flowers all over it that has a vintagey feel. Maybe add a long, flowing cardigan and some flats. If you can, get a pin or a headband with a cute rose for accessories. Other choices: You can also go bold with a dress w/ sequins, or one with a color that pops out. You can do just about anything!

Try aeropostale and AE to find a cute tank top you can layer over a plain tank top. Try a more modern print like abstract, circles,stripes, plaid, etc. Do this with a slightly damaged pair of jeans (you can buy this, or cheaper, take a pair you have that still fit, or go to a thrift store to get them, then make little holes to get a rough look, but not too many!)YOu could do it with capri's or shorts or skirts too! Try a pair of black gladiators or any black or grey shoe. Do a long necklace with a large focal piese on it to draw the eye. Make sure this piece goes with the shirt (aka if ur shirt is circles, make the necklace piece a large circle!) Do your make up pretty light, but do some grey eyeshadow and a nude or pink lip! I also think side bangs a shorter would look amazing! I have short hair and love it!
