  1.   Are you motivated by other people's motivation? Do you want to start that diet and just can't? Or just want some help to continue? Do you want to do this without giving out a bunch of information? Well then this club is for you.
  2.   .This group is about getting healthy at your own pace. And since this is a New Year, this is the perfect time to start. This club is also about getting and giving support to fellow members. Here, we will give you tips on how to get started and hw to keep getting healthier. Here, you can post up how well you are doing, what exercises work best for you and what accomplishments you make.
  3.   Also share your slip-ups. Don't be ashamed of them. It just means that your human. We can also help you get back on track.
  4.   You don't really have to SIGN UP to join. Just say that you're ready to start and you're in.
  5.   Weekly information will be posted up and mini tips will be posted throughout the week.
  6.   Have fun!!!

Hey, I would love to join this group. Im not really uncomfortable with the way I look (5,3 122 pounds). I would like to tone up a bit though just turn that fat into muscle. Someone said they want excericises for their thihgs etc.

I'M SOOO IN!!! I really need this!! I hate bein called fat and I feel ugly!! I know in my heart i am a beautiful person, but I'm fat.... I wonna star by losin 20 pounds then 20more...maybe.. but my bum is HUGE! haha...that needs to go!!

Now I'm gonna start gettin mad and let it out....


First off, I'm fat. I HATE HATE HATE IT!!!!! I've always feelt like i just wanted to take a knife and cut it off! But... that would hurt..... GRRR!!! Nothin EVER looks right on me, and the things that do I dont even like!!

Second of all, I hate all those people against fat people!! I over-ate cause I couldn't stop and I ate emotionally. And at lunch time they just stare at u when u eat and theyre discusted. It's like im a human bein and so r u.... just cause ur skinny/healthy and oviously eat doesnt make the fat people's eatin different!! GRR! And we fatties hide in these ugly big clothes while everyone can look good in wutever... and if were wearin the same thing as a skinny person, they "wear it better" cause they arent FAT!!!

Ya know, if all u skinny people hate us fatties, then do the right thing and help and encourage us to be healthier and we all can be healthy and happy together... I mean, REALLY?!?!! Common sense people!!


UGH!!! This kinda does make me feel better... just lettin everythin out.... I dunno the prez of this club is...but whoever u r, GOD BLESS U!! Please, Please, PLEASEEEEEE help me!! And i'll help u the whole way!! PLEASE!!

OK. so now im going to complain cause apparently this will help me.....

I hate how i am never motivated. i want to be healthy but i never seem to get my butt of the couch. there is always something better to do. i cant get motivated and i hate it! i cant workout no matter how hard i want to.

i hate how guys say they are stronger than girls!!!!!!!!!!!! it drives me CRAZZZZYYYYY!!! they are no better than us, and if anything, we are better that them!! i want to workout to improve my sports-playing-abilities and to show them that girls can do anything boys can do, but we can do it while wearing high heels!!

i hate when ppl say that jump rope is not a sport! i jump rope competitivily and it is just as much as a sport as football or soccer or hockey!!!!!!!! jump rope uses mental and physical health and it is EXTREMELY difficult. i would like to see one guy last one of our team's practices! and if jump rope were easy they would call it hockey!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, i dont know how this helped. i am now more mad about these problems then ever because i have talked about it and thought about my problems. how was this supposed to help. i just feel mad now.


but i still wanna join this club. can i?

So far all that we have been talking about is physical health. This week is all about your mental/emotional health. All throughout this week we will use this space to complain about something that you're mad about. I want all of you guys to get off of your chests what you are angry or upset about. It will make you feel better in the end.

Warm-ups.
This week I want you to make up your own warm-up. What is a warm-up and what good does it do? A warm up is supposed to get you body ready to do the actual wark out. 5 minutes should be enough to get the job done.
A warm-up should consist "Dynamic Stretches." Dynamic stretches are basically Biggest Loser" uses some of these dynamic stretches for her workout videos.
1.Arm circle
2.Arm swings
3.Toe touches (Not the cheerleading move. You stand with your legs shoulder width apart and arms out. The you bend over and touch the opposite hand to the opposite foot.)
Why can't I just do regular stretches? The answer is simply because regular stretches don't warm up the body enough to be ready for the workout.
One other thing that Jillian Michaels likes to do every warm up is to add some cardio.
1.Jumprope (you don't HAVE to have a rope.)
2.Jumping jacks
3.High knees
4.Butt kicks (you are basically running in place but kicking you legs so far back that you are kicking the heels of your feet up to your butt.)

I am so excited to be starting the WholeNewYou club. I hope that you are too.
This week is all about setting yourself up, finding a starting point. Why are you joining this club? Is it because you are getting in shape for a sport, you're not at the most healthiest weight right now, or maybe you just want to feel better about yourself. Whatever it is write it somewhere and then set some goals for yourslef. It will keep you motivated.
As for the actual "working out", my suggestion is to find a workout tape (or DVD) and do that 3 times this week. What if you don't have one? Make one up for yourself and stick with it for 3 days.
Love your soda? Each day this week switch the pop to a cup of water or milk. Addicted to that kool-aid? Switch it with some apple or orange juice.
Remember that you are not in this by yourself. We are all rooting eachother on.
