Well the guy had stolen something and his stuff was being checked and the police found a handgun. Thank goodness nobody was hurt. They found it second period, so if they had found it any later someone may have gotten hurt. I terrifies me how someone would ever do that, and that I go to school with people who could be dangerous. On 12/21/12 There were all these gun threats and everything in my area and I was too scared to go to school

Hey chica! I saw that you commented on an article about starting pointe. I am on pointe I would like to give you some advice.

1) Standing in some random pointe shoes is a lot different than being on pointe. It has nothing to do with whether or not you are strong enough, even if it seems easy and painless.
2) While I don't doubt you are ready, most teachers approach the student when they are sure the student is ready. It is fine to ask her again, but don't push it. You will seem immature and not prepared at all.
3) Be prepared for it. Pointe seems so beautiful and graceful, but there is a lot of pain and practice to be endured. Often, students start doing more advanced things after a year of walking and bar work and standing piques.
4) Pointe is pretty expensive. Along with classes, shoes are very expensive. Mine were $100 and I'm getting my 4th pair soon.
5) Don't give up. It is a lot of work and pain, and you may feel like quitting, but don't. It is completely worth it when you land triple turns. ;)

I really hope you get to go on pointe, if not this session, then sometime after. It is really gratifying and I feel so graceful and powerful when I dance on pointe. Best of luck, Alicia

Well,the thing that seems to work the best and worked for me,is just saying that it embarrasses you. Just say,"Mom,I really want to shave my legs because it's embarrassing to me." I just want to say to NEVER pull out the 'but so and so shave!' because it never works. Actually,it shows a sign of immaturity which makes them feel like you're not really ready for this and you feel pressured. Maybe even offer to buy the shaving cream and razor if you can! Just be cool and mature and respect your mom's choice. BTW,I just joined your club

Hi ^.^!! Well,to be honest,I don't think there's a certain age just as long as your not like 8 or something XD But I think 11 to 14 are good ages. Just as long as you actually have hair in your armpits :3 I started when I was 11. Just be like,"Hey, mom, can I shave my armpits? I'm starting to get some hair there and it's a bit embarrassing." hey girlie i wanna help you out
as for makeup, you can get black mascara at dollar tree, its actually good mascara and you can get lipgloss pretty much anywhere
if you're coordinated and ready for a much more noticable out there look you can go to your local hot topic (its in the mall) and get glittery black eyeliner its amazing you can get eyeliner sharpener at dollar tree but if you're under 12 you'll probably get alot of critisism about black eyeliner from hot topic and idk your age,style etc
also for the bra problem you can order AA or AAA bras online they're smaller than an A cup and if you're really skinny u can get like the band size (size around it not cupsize) in like 28
or go to the walmarts kids section or to justice they'll have bras that'll fit you probably

hey i saw your comment about how to start wearing make-up. i would start subtle like, with lip gloss and mascara. if u want you can wear natural colored eye shadow. in general don't go to heavy no matter what you are wearing. go with easy colors and not that heavy. save the really glam stuff for parties and dances

Hey girl, sorry I haven't responded or whatever in awhile. I need some dance advice! I got invited by my dance teacher and the owner of the studio to begin pointe. I JUST started Ballet a few months ago! Idk if I should start now or not!!! I want to but I am just not sure, what do you think?
