Ur parents might not be racist but aren't used to the idea of u dating someone diff from ur race. my aunt is from cuba, her dad didnt want her to marry my uncle because he's black, but that didnt stop her! Hope u get ur prob sorted out! Good luck!

oh. ur really lucky! i have always wanted to go there. i have heard that its really beautiful! my BFF is from tennessee. when i met her in second grade, she just got here to CA, and she still had her accent. it was SO cute! no one wanted to be her friend because they thought it was weird, but i thought it was really cool and awesome! i hate the city too! whenever i go to like, san jose or san francisco, i'm always happy when i get home because they have all the big buildings and it looks like there are NO houses, and that everyone lives in an apartment. not that theres anything wrong with them though. the city i live in is really small and there are no big buildings. its pretty much a town. its small and there are a lot of nice people in it too! Smile
