Try explaining to her that sometimes, people need their privacy/alone time. Try telling her that, even though you're great friends, sometimes you need to keep your distance. Tell her that you still wanna be friends with her, but can't have her right next to you every single minute of the day. If she's a true friend she'll back off a little, but if she doesn't, gradually drift away from her. Hope this helps!

hey girl!
i saw your comment on the blogs! well im in 9th grade and go to a private (catholic) school. well anyways, i had to write an essay too. put that they have good academics, that the faculty seem really nice. also say that they have a lot of extra curriculars that you would be interested in joining. also i would focus on a lot of positive aspects of the school. hope i helped! write back soon!!!!!!!!
