i suggest laying off for a bit f he likes you or even he just likes talking to you i dont see wats rong with making him start convos up with yu im not sayng not to talk to him just dont go out of your way yu see him at cross country just say hi politely thats it dont be the one to strike up the convo for a while then yull have yur answer if he misses talking to yur fabulous self hell start up the convos if not he may only think of yu as his friends lil sis and not gf potential or evn friend potential but gess wat its his loss
i really dont have an opinion on the age ssue but its true that older guys can take advantage of younger girls but thats not always the case if yu do end up getting invovled with hi never feel or be pressured into anything

Hey girl! I'm an advice giver for Club 22 and I saw your Q. Honestly, even if you find out that this guy likes you, I don't think it would be a good idea to go out with him considering the age difference. 3 years may not seem like a lot, but it does make a difference when you're a teenager, especially when you're considering going out with him. 16 year olds and 13 year olds can lead completely different lives. Think about it. He'll be going to college in 3 years, when you'll still be in high school. Plus, I hate to break it to you, but older guys often take advantage of younger girls because they are more vulnerable. And he could get in serious trouble if you guys ever, um, did anything. I would suggest remaining friends. It's safer for you, and will keep you happier in the long run. I just turned 14 last month, and I probably wouldn't go out with anyone older than 15. Now, granted, it does depend on the guy. But I still think you should do the safe thing and just stay friends. Good luck to you!!

Hey i am here to give u your advice. Guys can be confusing a lot. This is a tricky situation to be in but i think he likes u. When u were talking to ur brothers friend on face book and he asked u who u liked, he was hoping u would say him but when u asked him he was to embarrassed to tell u that he liked u because he thinks u don't like him back. Just try flirting with him to see what he does. This will probably solve ur problem and also, try to bring up who he likes again casually into a convertsation. I am pretty sure he is crushin on u. Hey girl! Age shouldn't matter, as long as it's okay with your parents. I also have an older brother and I'm friends with some of his friends. If you want to go ahead and go for him then, you should just keep talking to him a little bit more and maybe even hang out occasionally. Now if you really want to get over him and move on all you need to do is just surround yourself with some good friends and hang out with some other guys. Have a good time and play the field a little!
