Dang your times are fast!! Im the best in the age group on my team for 50 butterfly, mine is about 35 tho, i havent been timed since the summer. I can't wait til time trials! Ive been swimming twice a week over da winter, so, i hope i dropped alot of time!

This is tough stuff man! One things for sure, always be yourself. And that applies when you are in the same room as them. This has happened to me before, too. Try being nice to her, or at LEAST give her a smile once in a while. Maybe get to know her. If you ABSOLUTLLY not want to do this, don't just be mean to her. Have you told him how you feel? And in these situations, its probably gonna bite you in the butt when you lie, as you have figured out. And try talking to him. Were you friends before?
