hey girl! just tell your friend who you really are. if she's your friend she'll accept you no matter what. if she acts weird then maybe she's not your friend. as for the clothes and your mom, maybe have her look at them when you try them on to show her that they're appropriate. you can't worry about people judging your clothes because the only opinion that matters is Y-O-U-R-S! hope this helps! post back! ~Lauren

Hey srry I haven't responded in a while.. I have been busy.Well for this season I think Alex should win! He is AMAZING!! But he isn't my fav.. so IDK who I want as of right now! What about you? Who do you want to win? So, my advice? Well taking more than one class is always a GREAT way to strengthen your technique even more! So I would say if ballet is your strongest than take a pointe class... but if you want to strengthen in other ways and be the best you can be... take jazz! I would ask your mom first just for the money cause. k?! Well hope this helps! Oh and remember I can help ya out anytime! I have been taking dance for 10 years now! Well TTYL! Hugs! Go DANCERS!

No, I didnt hear about it. I am so sorry! I would say go to one of your old dance teachers and ask what they think.+ You could take a private lesson and not perform in any shows. If your mom says private lessons would be to exspensive you can remind her how much the dance costumes cost and if you didnt participate in recital etc. you would not need them. You would have a year to be caught up and would be ready for the other girls teachers could take more notice of how your doing if you are the only one in the class.+ If you know enough to teach or help in a pre-k class you might be able to ask to help for free, you would be in dance but wouldnt be shown up as a bad dancer the little kids would love having a teen or older kid help them. I would love to do that (but thats just me). Hope I helped! Hannah

well it depends on how good you were before. and how good the other girls were before and are now. it also depends on how serious of a dance studio you go to. i mean in my classes i take they are a lot of people with different levels of experience and its fine with the teacher. but if yours is like super serious then i would maybe either not do it or find a different (more relaxed dance studio). tell your mom how much you love dancing and miss it and maybe if money is an issue offer to pay SOME of the fee. good luck and keep me posted!

hey well the only way youll know if thats the case is if you go for it! if dancing is what you really love to do then i say it should be more about imporving yourself and your talents than what everyone else is doing. talk to your mom about maybe joining a dance camp over the summer to help with your technique or practicing at home more often to help too. hope this helps
