Hey Ashley! Do you mind if I talk to you for just a minute? So there's this guy I like. His name's Alex. He's kinda sorta friends with Brextyn, only he's nicer. Well anyway, I like him. I just recently started to. I think it's kinda cuz I'm SORTA getting the vibe that he likes me, but yet I always do and like none of the guys ever do. But this time it's different. In Interp the other day we had to choose our groups for these readers theaters we're doing for Christmas if we're not doing second season, and I ended up going with my friends Katie and Ashlynn and some other girls. But it was so weird, cuz those two and HIM were fighting over me!!!!!!!!!! Cuz Alex chose this one about a radio station in Texas (we're doing one about this like family in Texas) and he wanted me in his group cuz, and I quote, "JENNA HAS SUCH A DYNAMIC VOICE AND SHE'D BE GREAT FOR THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!!" and then he's like, "We call Jenna!" and K and A are like, "NO, WE DO!" and they were like fighting over me.... as much as I hate to admit it, I kinda liked it. lol. And that probably very well could be the reason he wanted me in his group but I like to think it's something more... sounds foolish, right? And then he looked really disappointed when I chose K and A, even though I sorta wish I would've gone with Alex... And he always talks to me and flirts with me and I flirt back (like today) and forgive me if this sounds REALLY cheesy, but whenever I look into his eyes my heart skips a beat. Like tonight at confirmation I caught him looking at me (several times) and I looked back and the "gaze" got so strong that I had to turn away!!!!!!! Even I was like, what the heck? So Idk... I'm just really confused and if I COULD go to Winter Formal I would ask him but I can't so... UGH! Thanks for letting me talk to you! I know how much you like giving advice! The show is December 12th. I can't wait! I know what you mean. I have dance tonight at 7:45, and I LOVE jazz, but I don't really feel like going, cuz it's Dancing with the Stars results night (LOL! GO MYA!) and it's just so dark and cold out! Plus my brother has a basketball game afterwards that I really don't wanna go to... I usually have to record DWTS on Tuesdays, but I ESPECIALLY have to tonight! (As you can see, I revolve my life around reality TV LOL!) They announce who makes the finals! I used to play piano, but I quit at the end of 6th grade. I kinda wanna join again though! OMG, don't you just HATE how early it gets dark in the winter? It's 6:02 pm as I type this and it's already pitch black! It gets dark at like 5:00!

ya...actually so far i haven't really dreaded mondays. i have a great group of friends at school, good teachers, and my crush is in most of my classes to make it even better...but i'm sure at some point this winter when it's freezing outside i won't want to go to school. is it cold where you live?

Nutcracker is going really well! Thanks for asking! Our show is 4 weeks from yesterday and it still could use a lot of work, but it's coming along. Flowers looks MUCH better than Russian though. I will say that. And I'm also an "Arabian helper", because the Arabians do this really cool disappearing thing with curtains and the Russians have to hold the curtains for them. I have practice Friday night, like half the day Saturday, AND for half an hour on Sunday. I'm getting excited for the show!! OMG! Sounds like you had fun! You must be tired! Last night my brother was at his friend's house and my dad was out of town so it was just me and my mom, and so my mom took me to the movie store and I rented A Walk to Remember and watched it for like the thousandth time. I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!!!!!!! It is like my all-time fave! I ALWAYS, ALWAYS cry, no matter what! And it seems like every time I watch it I cry harder and sooner! lol! Idk what it is! But it's SUCH a good movie... have you seen it? Idk why I don't own it, but it's probably a good thing that I don't because I can't handle that movie anymore! LOL! It's too sad!

Great! Okay, yeah i have trouble finding workouts in the winter too!! I have a few though: I LOVE tae-bo dvds (it's my thing, try it out if you want!) and i have this wii game called 'my fitness coach' and you can workout on that. i always get lots of indoor workouts from GL (or course!) and seventeen

OMG!!!!! YOU WENT OUT FOR THE DANCE TEAM?????? YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!! LOL! I thought about going out for the dance team, seeing as I dance and all, but I decided not to because a) the auditions last year for this year were the WORST possible week for me, b) the coach lives in my neighborhood and she is NOT my favorite person, and c) It was too much of a time commitment. I have other stuff to do! I might go out at the end of this year for next year though... The state tournament is tomorrow at my school and me and my mom were gonna go watch but I have Nutcracker half the day so we probably won't now. We'll see! Good luck with all your stuff though! lol! Have fun at your mom's candle party! I LOVE smelling candles, but we can't light them very often cuz they irritate my dad and my brother's allergies. Darn! I had a long week too, even though we had off in the middle of the week. Today was SOOOOOOO boring!

Hey, that's totally okay! Glad to hear from you! Ummm, not much new here lately. Tomorrow is Friday the 13th! haha. For some odd reason I'm totally obsessed with Fri. the 13th! lol! Is that weird? I have Nutcracker practice at 9 A.M. on Saturday (NOT looking forward to that) and that's pretty much all that's planned for the weekend. My dad is going back to Wisconsin hunting so it's just me, my mom, and my brother. We had off of school on Wednesday for Veterans Day. How 'bout you? What's the Vallette team? Hey Ashley! I haven't heard from you in a while! What's up? Nothing too new here... had a good Halloween... can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving already! OMG! This year just flew by... I can't believe it's November 4th! I remember January 4th (that's cuz I went tubing with my friends and it was a BLAST) like it was yesterday! lol! And now it's almost Jan. 4th AGAIN! So what's new? Our first quarter ended on Friday and now we're halfway through the semester! OMG! This school year is flying by already too! Before you know it we'll be done with freshmen year and moving on to sophomores! Idk how it is at your school but at mine no one seems to care about sophomores! lol! Seriously! Like seniors you know, they're the big dogs, and juniors it's like, "oh cool, you're a junior? You're almost a senior!" and the freshmen it's like, "hi little (even though we're not little) frosh's!" and soph.'s it's like, "ehhh." LOL! Maybe that's just my school! Speaking of school, I don't like Brextyn anymore... Idk why, that "relationship" that never was just kinda ran it's course. Idk if I really like anyone now. There's this one kid who I'm really good friends with and I kinda like him but Idk if I like him like that... it's really confusing! It's girls ask guys to the Winter Formal this year but I can't go cuz that's the week before Nutcracker and of course we'll have an uber-long practice that night. Yeah I can't WAIT till prom! I've always dreamed of going there, ever since I was little, so I can't WAIT! I'm not really a glitzy kind of girl, I don't wear make up and I'm NOT a huge fan of dresses AT ALL, but for prom, it'll be fun! OMG! You should totally go out for it! Seems to me like you'd have a pretty good chance! And if your friend said most everyone makes it, unless you're really bad, you'll probably get on the team. And you sound good to me. So go for it! Oh yeah, I know what you mean. The principal of my high school is SOOOOOOOO hilarious! I love him soooooo much! Anyway though, he HATES dances so he is overjoyed when he doesn't have to chaperone them. LOL. He didn't have to chaperone the Homecoming dance this year cuz it was booster-club sponsored so he was excited! lol! Idk about the Halloween dance--all I know is he won't be there! I wish I could go but I feel like I have to go to Nutcracker! The show is December 12th, which seems far away, but it's really not! It's closer than we think! I can't WAIT till junior year and I can go to prom! It's gonna be so much fun! Unless I get asked by an older guy before then, which is highly unlikely, considering the luck I have with guys my own age. So WHATEVA! We have Winter Formal and this year it's December 4th but of course that's the week before Nutcracker and we're gonna have practice that night so I HAVE to go. UGH! OH WELL!

My friends Emily and Hailey and I think Nicole will be there too so it'll be fun. Friday night is the Halloween dance at school, but Idt I'm going. Most of my friends, as far as I know, aren't going and I have Nutcracker practice for dance that night anyways. So I think I'll just sit that one out. Does your school have a Halloween dance? Tonight me and my brother skipped confirmation and my parents took us to the Haunted House!!!!!! We were gonna go last weekend but then me and my mom ended up going to the Mall of America instead. And this weekend doesn't work. So my mom gave in and let us skip and we had a blast. This one dude scared me SO bad! We went to the Corn Maze a few weeks ago...

Yeah but today he was a total jerk to me. So who knows. He's always crabby on Wednesdays though. LOL! Seriously! Most of the teachers have Smart Boards but a few of them don't. My geography, science (wait, Idt it does), and English classes all do but math, Spanish, science (I can't remember if it does or not!!), and Oral Interp don't. I think it kinda depends on the teacher. Although sci. and Eng. are in the new wing so that might be why they have them. Although so is Span. and it doesn't. And Geography is an old room. Who knows with my school! (I should really pay attention and see if my science room has one LOL!) So what are you doing for Halloween?

Yeah it's pretty fun!! You get a lot of exercise just walking around!! haha. Yeah and today we had to do this thing because we're starting To Kill a Mockingbird next week and so to "introduce" ourselves to it we have to write a persuasive essay, choosing one of a number of topics that my English teacher chose that kinda relate to the novel. Anyhoo, we had to do this thing where she put the topics on the Smart Board and we had to go to one side of the room if we agreed with it and another side if we disagreed. Well one of the prompts was, "The way a person speaks can say a lot about them" and I put disagree. (It would take too long to type my reasoning!! ) So she asked me and like the two other people to explain and so I shared my reasoning. Well as I was talking Brextyn was like glued to me (happened EVERY time I shared) and then after sharing this particular one him and a BUNCH of people switched sides!!!!!!!! And then later on he said to me, "You did really good explaining that one topic!" He could've just been complimenting my articulate-ness (LOL!) but hey, I take it as a good sign! ;)

Hey, it's totally okay! I was at the Mall of America with my mom this weekend, otherwise I would've replied sooner! WELL....... kinda. We played this review game in English class the other day for our test and two people had to be on the "panel" at the front of the class. Whoever was left at the end would win. ANYWHO, it's kinda hard to explain, so I'll just tell the story. Well he was like to me before it started, "I'm gonna win this game" and I'm like, "sure you are." And whaddaya know????? HE WINS!!!!!!!!!! And then at the very beginning every time he'd get a question right he'd look at me and start smiling!!!!!!!!! And then he was totally flirting with me later on too! My English teacher, Mrs. Guetter, was like, "Brextyn, leave her alone!" LOL! So I wouldn't really call it too "epic" or anything but it was good enough for me! ;) What's new with you?

OMG, I TOTALLY know what you mean! When I was little I ALWAYS wanted to be 14. I have NO idea why. I think it's cuz I had so many older cousins, but Idk. Anyhoo, I thought 14-year olds were just the coolest! And now I think most of 'em are buttheads. And you're right, it seems so much older than you really feel! I feel like I should be like 18 by now! LOL! Why don't you wanna go to school tomorrow Ashley? Spill girl! Dude so you know the guy I like, right? Well today in DEAR (Drop everything and read) my friend Miranda made her friend (and mine too) Shelbie this like poster thing that she wants her to put on her locker. Well it had like all these little inside jokes that they have on it and one of them just said, "COFFEE!" So Brextyn goes, "does that say coffee?" and Shelbie's like, "yeeeeeeah" and he's like, "WHY?" So I'm like, pointing to his English book, "Does that say Brextyn?" "Yeah." "WHY?" LOL! It was SO FUNNY! Shelbie and I just cracked up! And he's like, "God, you're annoying as he--" and he got all mad and is like, "THAT'S MY NAME!" LOL! You have to know him to think it's funny!

Yeah, you can. You can get your permit AND your license in SD at 14! Where as in Wisconsin, if I remember correctly, you could get your permit at 15 but you couldn't get your license till 16. But here, they're pretty lax about it! Three of my friends have their restricteds, but one of 'em got her permit like a week after she turned 14 (you don't have to take driver's ed first to get it) and the others just got theirs recently. One of my other friends just has her permit, but she wasn't allowed to start driving till 15. And there's another one who's not allowed to yet like me, and the other one didn't turn 14 until July, and to take driver's ed you have to be 14 by June 1st! So Idk where that really puts her. haha. But I totally agree, it is really weird that we're talking about driving! I remember when I thought that being able to drive was like some sacred shrine of growing up or whatever (lol), and now everyone's doing it! Except for me, cuz I have super-strict parents, of course!

Yeah, one of my really good friends went out with this one guy over the summer, and he's a year younger than her and doesn't even go to school with us. She knows him from her church. And like all they ever did was text!!!!!! Text text text, ALLLLL day long! They did hang out quite a bit though, but all that ever happened was he came over to her house! I think she only went to his once! I didn't even KNOW this guy and I didn't like him though, just from stuff she said. So when they "broke up", I was happy! (So was her other BFF Ashlynn...) But she got her first kiss from him and stuff. And now she regrets it cuz she says it was really awkward! But then they kissed again the other day cuz he's moving to California and it's really confusing... even I'M not sure what's going on! OMG, I totally remember when our first "couple" started "going out" in 5TH GRADE! We were all like, "OMG!" We thought they were like these poster children for relationships or whatever! LOL! Which is so stupid now, because the girl is a total b**** and not a lot of people like her and the guy's just a player! LOL, well here in South Dakota you can drive at 14, but my parents won't let me till I'm 16. Cuz "that's the driving age in Wisconsin". But I did KINDA talk my mom into letting me take driver's ed next summer when I'm 15, and then just keeping my permit till I'm 16! So we'll see.

Okay, well don't take this the wrong way, but good, I'm glad I'm not the only one!! LOL! Although my 3 closest friends haven't either (well I should say 3 of the 4), but they're kinda "behind" in the guys department. Two of 'em haven't even slow danced with guys yet!! (no disrespect to you if you haven't) I haven't like SERIOUSLY danced with one but I've slow danced with one just screwing off for fun SOOOOOOOO many times! I had my first slow dance in 7th grade! I've never really had a boyfriend before either, no need to feel bad. I HAVE had two, but neither was serious. One of 'em we "went out" for a day and the other it was over a weekend. LOL. We started "going out" on a Friday and I "broke up" with him on a Monday! It was pretty much mutual. And the first guy and I talk all the time. Still. We're good friends. But it was in 7th grade so I really don't care that it didn't go very far, cuz really, IT WAS 7TH GRADE! Personally, sorry if you have different views, but I think "going out" with people in middle school is so stupid. All you basically do is talk and/or text! And it's not like it's going to last. High school is a little different, some people last. Like my parents. They were high school sweethearts and have now been married for 21 years! Anywho, so yeah, I wouldn't worry about not having a boyfriend. Cuz you know what? They're just extra weight tying you down, in most cases. I feel totally fine not having one, unlike a lot of girls. I mean, if the right guy came up (BREXTYN LOL) I'd probably go for it, but for now, I'm totally fine. I'm just kinda embarrassed I haven't had my first kiss yet!! Plus my parents won't allow me to date until I'm 16 anyway... which sucks! Although my mom did say this: "YOU CAN HAVE AS MANY BOYFRIENDS AS YOU WANT, YOU'RE JUST NOT GOIN' ON A DATE WITH HIM UNTIL YOU'RE 16!" So I'm gonna hold that to her if ever I need to!

(lol) I haven't gotten my first kiss yet, and I'm 14. I'm in HIGH SCHOOL. It's really embarrassing. Most of the kids in my grade have and I haven't. Hey Ashley! Do you mind if I ask you for some advice right now???? Is that okay? Well so there's this guy that I sit next to in English, right? And his name is Brextyn. (hopefully no girls from school are on this website Somehow I highly doubt it!) I REALLY like him. Which is kinda pathetic seeing as he's a total jerk. But for some reason I always seem to fall for the jerks. Well anyway, he's pretty cute and he's actually somewhat nice to me. SOMETIMES. He also knows EXACTLY how to annoy me and does the right things to do that. But lately I've been noticing some changes in him. He's almost kinda, oh how do I put it, SWEET around me? Like we actually have been having some nice conversations lately and stuff. When he's not annoying me or I'm not flirting with him (and he's flirting back). But like he really makes me laugh sometimes and a lot of times he ends up laughing when I laugh, which is really weird. And like yesterday it was SO strange because like we were finishing each other's sentences!!!! It was totally weird! He wasn't there today though cuz he went hunting. I was sad! So anyway, the moral of the story is, I'm falling for him. And based on the way he acts, I think he's falling for me too. BUT, I have gotten my hopes up like this SO many times before and nothing good's ever come out of it. I told myself this time would be different, but it's ended up being just the same as the rest! I want there to be SOME guy who I like who just likes me back, and likes me for me, not for my chest... (long story) Not that there are even any guys at my school that like me for that. I want something to happen between us SO bad, but yet I don't wanna push myself into it, because that happened once before and I will NEVER go there again. WORST day of my life. Not even kidding. Yeah but then you also get the Varsity Interp kids (I'm a novice, cuz it's my first year) who think that they run the show and so if you even TALK to someone else they rat you out to the teacher....

I have an Oral Interpretation competition a week from today. Oral Interp is where you cut your own material, from scripts or books or whatever (HAS to be published), and you perform it. It's not like Speech class, which is required if you don't do interp, where you sit and write speeches about boring things. You PERFORM! Which is perfect for me cuz I love to perform. And you have to compete in at LEAST 4 tournaments just to pass the class! It's a lot of fun though... so far! Does that clear it up?

Cool! I used to play piano, back in 5th grade and 6th grade, but then I quit. I was good at it and liked it but I got really sick of practicing and it just wasn't something I LOVED. You know? But that's great that you stick with it! How long have you been playing? I kinda wanna join it again but Idk... I'd be so out of it! Well not much is new here. I've got confirmation and dance and Nutcracker practices on Saturdays (I had Russian yesterday) (we don't have it next weekend though) and same as usual. My grandma and her "Man friend" (lol) are here right now and are leaving tomorrow. Thank God!! haha jk, I like them but they get to be a little much! I have my first Oral Interp competition a week from Tuesday--yikes! jk, I'm ready for it. I think! Other than that nothing too fabulously new. My HALF-birthday is tomorrow! LOL! WHOO HOO! ;)

LOL! Me too! Except I didn't even cheer--I was too busy socializing! My brother said we won though... Tell me about it! I'm really mad because I was definitely one of the best ones! They didn't cast very fairly though, from what I've heard! We did not have a bonfire. We just had the football game and the dance. We wouldn't have been able to have a bonfire because the marching band had a competition in Waseca, MN the next day and had to leave EARLY and since a lot of the school is in band... yeah.

Hey! That's totally okay! I've been busy too! School, dance, Oral Interp practice, fall play auditions (I did not make it and I am really pi**ed--long story), confirmation, Coronation for Homecoming King and Queen (Austin and Anna won--exactly who I predicted!), Nutcracker auditions for dance (I am a Russian and a flower), and Homecoming stuff! I also had to volunteer for this group I'm in, SALSA, on Saturday. I'm glad to finally be able to (somewhat) relax! You know, I can honestly say I have no clue if we won the game or not. LOL! I wasn't really paying attention! Is that pathetic?! The dance was AMAZING though and I had a TOTAL blast. I would go back and do it again in a heartbeat! I'm not ready for school tomorrow either, it's gonna be a looooooong and boring day, I can tell. Oh well! All good things must come to an end! But on the plus side, Dancing with the Stars starts tomorrow! ;)

im sad...i cant do volleyball 4 three weeks cuz i fractured my wrist in my soccer game last sat =( but i can still play soccer so thats good

in gym i love floor hockeya nd volleyball and soccor and basketball. in school but not gym i love x country and soccor and basket bal and track and volleyball!!!

LOL! Yeah a lot of people were dressed up at school but a lot of people weren't. Some went really overboard and some did not. I was actually one of the crazier ones! Senior Citizen Day is gonna be HILARIOUS tomorrow! I can't wait! Crazy Day was fun!
