Hey! I saw ur comment about the semi formal. What i would suggest is either wearing a tight black skirt, and a fun top or a cute dress like you said.

if u wanna do the skirt go to forever 21, something like the one on the link would be cute. and then you can do a sequined tank or a fun shimmery top.

and for the dress i would suggest that you check out forever21.com, modcloth.com, lulus.com, or asos.com they all have a lot of different dresses that could be cute for the occasion!
