Okay, so if it's just going to make them look bad, I'm pretty sure it's not something that you're going to have to worry about. Just talk with your uncle again, ask him if he thinks you should still be paid. If so is your salary the same or lower. Ask him if anything will or will not happen if anyone finds out what you've done. Then see how things go.

Oh ok, so you should talk to your uncle, see what he thinks. If he hired you they must trust you. If he finds out that you did something, and you didnt tell him, no matter what it is, he will be upset. It doesnt matter how long ago it was, just explain it to him. If he doesnt think it's a big deal, it probably isnt. You just need to forget about it. What's done is done and you cant go back and change the past. Everyone makes mistakes, so dont freak. Guilt can eat people alive, so you need to forget it. Time goes by and whats done is done. Hope i helped =D

If this situation gets to the police, stay calm and tell the WHOLE truth, give them straight answers. Tell them if you didn't mean to do it. Don't sound like you are just saying that- say it like you mean it. But dont go onnnn and onnn about how you didnt mean to do it. The police will understand. They are humans too. Good Luck!

I saw your question on mofraser's profile and since I give advice as well I thought I would give you my input.

Mofraser did give you some pretty good advice, but I think some things can't go over that easily. If the possibly illegal thing that you did is actually worse than you think, bigger measures will have to take place.

Don't worry I'm not a police officer, nor do I work for any thing that allows you to arrest people. I'm just here to help!

Would you be able to tell me what you did wrong? On GL or would you feel more comfortable over e-mail? If so, leave your e-mail in the next comment.

If I know what the problem is I will be able to help you to the best of my abilities.

Alright well this is tough...I'd suggest that you should explain the whole entire situation to your uncle. He owns the store, so if he doesn't think it's a big deal then it's probably not. If you have done everything right except for this one mistake (whether it be big or small) they will still trust you. He hired you, so he must have a lot of trust in you. Everyone makes mistakes and bad choices sometimes. Nobody is perfect. So, I would suggest talking to your uncle about what you did and if you don't think you should get paid, discuss that too. Hope i helped =D
