Q: I got a BF the last three days of school. It is almost summer and I am not supposed to have a BF. I want to be able to call him but i will have no idea what to talk about. I know bring up his interests but what if we silence. Also he is my BFF's ex. He is ok with it and so is she. But they used to hug and hold hands and I want to be able to do that too, but don't know if he is. Also how can you tell when he wants to hug you?

As for what to talk about, your def right about bringing up his interests. Ask questions, comment on things, and laugh (not too much though!) to be super likeable. Talk about your interests, too, though in moderation- boys aren't super chatty like girls! Also, think about group dates to get to know him better. Casual group dates are great for bonding and fun and you'll have something to talk about. Don't go too formal at first- go and get ice cream or go to a baseball game. Just relax around him and be yourself.

Also, you say that you want to hug/ hold hands. That's fine, but I would keep it to a minimum (at first anyhow) in front of your BFF, since he is her ex. Also, you ask when you know he wants to hug you. This is a hard question to answer cause all guys are different. He will probably hug you in sweet little moments, though again, all guys are different. Don't worry too much- these things happen naturally.

Also, one other thing- you say you aren't supposed to have a BF. If at all possible, I would try to calmly explain to your parents your position. Reassure them that your BF is a nice guy. And, here's what really works- let them meet him! If they meet them and see how great he really is, they'll probably let you date. Finally, keep their dating rules. If they give you a curfew for dates, follow it to keep their trust- otherwise, they may think twice about letting you have a BF.

Hey thanks for the great adivce. But i have another problem lol. I have this REALLY good guy friend. I tell him just about everything just like my bff. My friends always says he likes me but i know he doesn't. At least he has never said anything. And i am pretty sure i don't like him but idk. When i hear him say something to me about liking abother girl i get really jealuos and wish he would like me. I am so confused HELP!

Ok, well it's normal for you to be a little jealous- he's your best bud! And, it is always nice to have that good feeling that someone is attracted to you, so that may be causing a lil jealousy. As for your confused feelings, think: Would I want him as a boyfriend? This is hard to answer, but if you say yes or probably, you probably like him. So, flirt a little. See where that gets you. Also, talk to his friends to find out who he likes- boys are easily bribed and his friends will be no different lol

Well, this guy def likes you some if he's that friendly. However, some guys are just naturally outgoing and friendly, so there are a few things to look for when determining if he likes you as a crush or likes you as just a friend. First, does he act the same way around other girls? If he doesn't, he is so into you. Is he constantly staring or making eye contact with you, or trying to get your attention? If he is, he probably has a crush on you. Also, I would ask a trusted friend (someone who can keep secrets) for advice and her opinion. And, if you like him back, maybe try being friendly and flirty back. Hope this helps
