Hey, SwimGurl It sounds like you are really into this guy so I can't blame you for wanting to tell everyone! If someone asks you "Do you like *his name*" just smile and say "Yeah, we're friends". Don't worry about him knowing; he might just think it is gossip. Don't be scared to talk to him if he is any of your classes. I know it is hard, but just remember how you got to know him at camp and how he must have liked you (or he wouldn't have been so nice to you). It can be about anything- school, camp, sports, things you have in common. As for playing it cool, try to keep yourself from talking about him all the time to your friends. Treat him as you would one of your friends and when you are more comfortable with him, flirt a little. Oh, and don't worry about him being popular. If he's really a good guy, it won't matter to him. Heyy, so this may be long but you may be the only help for me right now. So I have had this crush for lets just say 4 months. Whenever I go out in public I either see him or his friends. By mistake I had realized that I told a lot of people that I liked him. So that kinda got around pretty fast. My grade went camping and he was placed in my group. We got to know each other a little and I started to like him even more. He is really popular in my grade if not the most popular guy. All the girls go for him. Over the summer I think he found out that I liked him but....I am not quiet sure. He was really nice to me at the camp but I am not sure if he knew which makes me get even more scared. School is starting soon and what if I am on his team? Or sit next to him in some classes. I can't even talk to him how nervous I get. What do I do? How do I play it cool and not drool over him all day? Thanks!

My dad is so mean to me all the time! Today, we were walking to my guitar lesson, so of course I'm carrying a somewhat heavy guitar and we're, like 2 minutes late and he starts walking fast and tells me to keep up. I say I'm walking as fast as i can, with emphasis, but not rudely and he shoves me off the sidewalk and tells me how rude I am and literally asks me who the hell do i think i am? i hate him! and a couple months ago, he called me some form of 'wise @$$' THREE times in one week. I'm so jealous of girls who can talk to their dads about anything. What do I do? thank you!

Soo I “REALLY” like this guy…for probably one year and 4 months …. 2-3 weeks ago, I told him I liked him…but the thing is he liked me a last year and I think I broke his heart……. When I told him I liked him, he said he’d accept and that he liked me and he even asked me to be his girlfriend! I said yes but we don’t even do anything! We went out once but it was all awkward and weird!! I do “TRY” to talk to him but whenever I do, he just gives me short answers like he doesn’t care……. Hes like sooo confusing and all he cares is play games at home all day!!! I try to talk to him sometimes and doesn’t even talk much. At school he just ignores me and doesn’t even try to talk!! Well....my parents would make fun of me and probably wouldn't let me date. He's going to ask me out any day now... not kidding. it was supposted to be today but he couldn't find me after school...i have an older sister who is 16 and hasnt had a bf yet so they still don't know what its like to have their little daughter grow up!

Hi SuperT If he is rlly shy, he cod just b unsure if u want hom 2 hug or kiss u. He also mite like u a lot, and doesn't wanna make u feel uncomfertable. U will get 2 know them better and u wont b just another gf. not evry1 is trustworthy so just see how it goes in the friendship and u'll find some guys tht can b. if u dnt know how 2 strt a conversation, just ask about the hw, or bring up a topic u know hes into. and remember- u can also meet new guys at the mall or on vaca. hope this helped

Help!! :/ ok.... So I previously had a GIANT crush on this guy in my class for such a long time! I'm finalllly getting over him and I moved on to a guy who moved to my school at the beginning of the year. I ha never talked to him in my life but I added him on facebook. To my suprise, on Sunday, he started a chat with me we only talked for a few minutes and he logged off...Monday he started a chat with me again and got my number. We started texting and talked about random things and it was fun. we finally got Talking about who we liked and after like 10 min I finally found out that it was me!!!! (he said he liked me when he first saw me but now he likes me more than ever..also he just broke up with his gf few days ago...after he accepted my friend request on facebook) 1st problem: we are both shy.... I'm not shy around people iv known for a long time but I'm quite shy around ppl I don know long. Yesterday, we just smiled in the hallway before school cuz I had to go to regional science fair. His smile made my heart nearly melt. -texting him after school while I was still at science fair... He asked me to to to a movie on sunday...this would ny first date and *I'm realy nervous and I wouldn't know what to tell my parents.* They don't want me to date yet because they don't want their "little girl" (btw im in 8 grade) growing up. One of my friends volunteered to come with with my other friend...I was constantly texting him last night and he asked me can I say somethng? I said go ahead. He said "I'm fallin for you." I said" " he said " I can't stop it either. I am happy that I can't cuz I don't want to. I'm falling for you and I'm loving it." ... I'm just so nervous talking to people when I haven known them for a looooong time!! And should I tell my parents that I'm going to the movie(If I go) with my friends? u just got back 2 talking 2 him so i should think to wait a bit more if he keeps acting like he likes u then go for it.. but to tell u the truth guys ARE always confusing they could just be flirting for fun or just thats their personality or they really like dig up some more bones before u find the whole skeleton
