okay so i have the same problem kinda. i have fluffy curly hair and i straighten it but sometimes it just gets weird so try heat protectant and then the night before try this product: 3 day straight by john frieda. it keeps your hair straight for 3 days. and also do many sections dont be afraid to take a while. also for the curling watch youtube videos tthose help alot!

about your prob with your curly hair...i have the same prob because my hair is so thick and curly. what i do is take a shower at night and put my hair care stuff in. and in the morning, i straighten my hair and then do my make-up 'n' stuff. but the key to straightening your hair is to do it in 3 layers...oh and put a tiny bit of arosol hairspray in it to keep it through the day! xoxoxox Samm L.
