Twilight #5: The Untold Tales

Chapter 1-A Stay in Italy

>>Waking Up is something I'd never liked. I was always so close to the end of a perfect dream. And then it was swept away with the sense of being conscious.
>>Not this time.
>>I awoke and saw only black. Where was I? What had happened?
>>I tried to recall the events in the last few days or so. They were jumbled at first, but soon became clear, like glass. Brilliant, shards of piercing glass.
>>I had been up on the roof of our apartment in New York. Then that man came. He had gleaming red eyes, truly fearful, but also amazing and alluring. And that might just be why I walked towards him.
>>Nope, no screams of terror. No running back to the door and tripping down four flights of steps to get to the 16th floor apartment. I just walked towards him. He came closer to me.
>>Then he grabbed my arm and dangled me over the side of the building. I screamed.
>>"What the heck is wrong with you?!"
>>He only smiled. I only then noticed how cruel and harsh and evil his eyes were. And the pointed teeth that seemed hungry for my blood.

>>I ran into the mess and grabbed a young girl. She looked at me terrified. As if I was contagious or something. Oh dear gosh what was happening?
>>I tried to drag her over to the door I had come from, but she simply screamed bloody murder and tried to get away from me. Which is when I heard a SNAP! I had broken the poor girl's wrist.
>>She started crying. I didn't know what to do. So one of the 'people' ripping others apart came and bit her. She shut up quite quickly.
>>I closed my eyes and waited for the noise to stop. It only took about five minutes.
>>I opened my eyes and looked around. A few body parts still remained, but someone was busy cleaning up the parts and dumping them. On the other hand, I had five well fed things looking at me. I had finally determined these things were vampires.
>>"A vampire who isn't blood savvy, who knew?" a younger looking girl vampire said. It was alarming that her eyes were so big and red. Not blood thirsty, but still a red. "May I-?"
>>"Now Jane, " a male vampire said. "Let's not frighten her just yet."
>>"Well she already saw us feasting," Jane muttered. She turned and faced a corner, but I could tell she was still listening.
>>"I am Aro," the vampire introduced himself. "One of the three leaders of the Volturi. Marcus and Caius sit on their thrones." I looked breifly at them. They were both frowning at me.
>>" Hold out your hand," Aro instructed. I did as he said.
>>He clasped my hand firmly and closed his eyes for an exact minute. Then he let go of my hand, stepped back, and opened his eyes. They seemed full of interest. Was that good or bad?
>>"Quite interesting my dear, it seems that you weren't killed on purpose. And it's a miracle you survived." He grinned. "It seems that you were attacked by a nomad-James to be exact. I wonder where his dear Victoria was then?
>>"Anyway, if you are wondering how you survived, it was luck and Carlisle. He must have been in that same building last week. He brought you here."
>>"Wait, I've been asleep for a week?!" I asked.
>>"Yes, longer than most. It usually takes only four or five days," Jane said from the corner.
>>Gee thanks, I thought.
>>I was then frozen. And in pain. I couldn't cringe and I couldn't think or see or hear anything. Just an intense pain that crept all over my body. Just like that burning sensation. Only this wasn't quite as bad, and it felt like an artificial pain. But still pain non the less.

hey girl!

Lavender, as well as most pale pinks and pale purples, work well for almost any eye color. They work especially well with blue eyes since they bring out the lighter tones in the eyes and make them seem bluer. Smoky eyes, if they are appropriate to the occasion, look good on anyone. For the simplest smoky eye: Line the eyes as closely as possible to the lash line with dark gray or black shadow, or a black eyeliner pencil, or a kohl pencil. Then smudge upward and outward toward the eyebrow and corner of the eye. Smudge the bottom only slightly to soften the line, but don't drag downward because smearing the dark color under your eye will make you look tired. Powder over the pencil, if you use one, with dark gray or black powder to set it and soften it further. Apply mascara and you're done.

Colors to AVOID: blue, brown and gold.

Summary:

Eye shadow: Shades in the brown, rose and violet families are best. (pastel)

Eyeliner: Brown

Mascara: brown or brown/black

Blush/lip gloss: a light or neutral tone

I think that you should try to do new things with your hair. Boys really notice it. Take it from me i know. But girl the simple things are what boys notice. Just try pulling your hair back to flaunt you blue eyes (blue eyes are tottaly an asset). You can also try wisting the top of your hair on your parted side, mostly. It always looks great and it goes for simple yet sophisticated look, great for picking up guys :p
