hey. i know what you are talking about with the ears peirce thing. i am 14 (well, almost..like in a week, but whatev.) and my mom is the EXACT SAME! it is so annoying. she's says i can get it once i leave the house! UGH!

having trouble convincing your parents to get your ears pierced? try convincing them to let you pierce your eyebrow it's way worse jks umm just lay out a reasoned argument and if it dsnt work you could always just do it yourself <---- that is a joke!!!! don't actually!

Like you know on the back of food boxes they have the nutrition facts? That will tell you how many calories are in the food (calories is the energy amount in different foods, and if you eat too many it turns into fat in your body). I track how many I eat everyday with a calorie counter (I have an app. on my cell phone but you can also find some on the internet, like the Calorie Counter on fatsecret.com). I try not to eat over 1,200 (you should probably eat more like 1,700 or so though, since youre younger you need more for healthy growth) calories a day (you should never eat below 1,200 a day or your body will go into starvation mode and hold onto fat cells rather than burn them). I also count the fat and saturated fat in foods and try not to eat over 30 grams of fat a day. And I make sure that what I do eat is mostly fruits and veggies. When I eat I fill up half of my plate with veggies, then a quarter of it with lean protein like boneless skinless grill chicken, then the other quarter with a whole-grain carb- such as brown rice or whole wheat pasta or a whole grain roll. I pay attention to serving sizes to. And for like breakfast I usually eat something like a cup of low fat plain yogurt, then I add some vanilla extract and honey to sweeten it, then I top it with fresh blueberries, blackberries and raspberries (which are full of antioxidants, which do great things for your skin, makes it like glowy and perfect looking), then I'll eat that with a little muesli or granola and I'll have a half of a whole wheat english muffin so I stay full until lunch.
This has all worked pretty well for me, I've lost 15 pounds so far. And I feel pretty great.

Hey! Sorry it took so long to reply, I haven't checked my comments on here lol So, hi! I'm Casey I'm 17 and I love to cook, and I'm really good at coming up with healthy recipes and I've got lots of exercise and healthy eating ideas. But I really need a workout buddy to help keep me motivated, and exercise tips and stuff would be great too. or if you just want to exchange comments on her I'll try to remember to check my posts more often lol talk to ya later
