  5.   A little bit about me: My name is Ali. I started this club to spread my faith around and show other girls the joy and happiness I get from my faith. ****QUESTION*****
Hey, this is really open to anyone and everyone willing!!
Okay, so I'm a relatively new Christian, and no one in my family is Christian, so I often get confused, or hesitant about some things.. On Easter Sunday, we have Communion in my youth group church service, and they ask anyone who is not saved or baptised to not take part in Communion. However, I'm not baptised, and I always feel so ashamed for not "qualifying" to take part of it. Not only that, I don't fit in in my church youth group, and it makes it all the more awkward and humiliating when I'm sitting by myself when everyone takes part of Communion. Last year, which was the first year that I was a believer, I took part in it because I was so embarrassed and I truly am saved. I'm so tempted to not attend church service this year on Easter because of this; of course I want to praise and worship God at church, and OF COURSE God is greater than whatever I may be feeling, but I don't want to take part of a ceremony where I'm "not supposed to" like I did last year. Do you guys have any new perspectives, advice, or anythign you could share with me? Thank you!

*PRAYER REQUESTS*
Hi, I have some difficult news. My grandma was just diagnosed with breast cancer. We are really close and I really want her to get better. Not too long after that, my grandpa was diagnosed with an aneurysm and went through emergency surgery. He is doing better, but the road to recovery is long. Another sad case is a teacher at my schools 2 year old daughter, Kaylee, was just diagnosed with liver cancer. She has stage four cancer, the latest stage, meaning the cancer is in all four parts of her liver and in her lungs. The survival rate is about 5% in 6 months. Please, please, please pray for her. This little girl needs a miracle.

I feel so horrible, cause I haven't been on here in forever. I didn't forget about you guys. Life has just been hectic lately. I have basketball practice every night, tons of homework and I'm trying to help my best friend through a rough time. But I still feel bad for not posting anything. I will try to post a devotion at least once a week. I love you chicas!

agamble99 - The Bible says that Adam and Eve had "many other children" (i don't remember the exact verse but it'd be easy to find in Genesis) that were unlisted. We can assume some of these many were women, so Cain and Abel got their sisters as wives. As weird as that sounds, it was totally normal back then. Cain went to the land of Nod with his wife (This travel is symbolic of evil or exile because "to the east" is considered more evil. There is some historical significance with Cain's exile, too. He killed Abel because he, as a farmer, offered the fruits of his crops which God did not appreciate as much as Abel's lamb. There are records of other cultures showing dislike between shepherds and farmers: Evil farmers must live in evil cities.) Cain's descendants (meaning the kids he had with his sister/wife) were regarded as evil because his blood ran within them, thus Canaanites are evil becasue they descend from Cain. Sorry it's so long, but I hope it helps. Smile

Hey, I have some really great Christian songs you girls should check out: Those Nights by Skillet, Strong Tower by Kutless, My Own Little World by Matthew West, Collide (also by Skillet, but I havent's listened to this one yet so I'm not sure how good it is), I Need You to Love Me by BarlowGirl, Alive Again by Matt Maher and Ooh Ahh by Grits. Casting Crowns also has some really awesome songs. My Religion teacher tells about a new song every week, so I'll have more soon. I really love your profile. That's a great question! I do not know the exact answer. I looked it up in the Bible and all it says Cain went to the land of Nod, and was with his wife (no name) and they gave birth to Enoch, who had another child, and so on. I hope that helps! All we know is that god made human out of the dust of Earth!

SUGGESTION!- I gave my sister window markers for Christmas and i tried them out. They are really a great thing for when we girls are stressing out about how we look. I wrote on my mirror things like God made me perfect! Also you could write one bible verse a week if you want to memorize bible verses. I have heard that helps when trying to live a Christian life. For a Christmas present, my parents let me sponsor a girl in a needy country. I will send her 35 dollars a month for food, education, medicine, and knowledge about Christ. The website is worldvision.com if you feel like it is something God is calling you to do. I feel great about helping out. Sometimes I feel too young to help and serve God but we aren't. Someone special to me told me that every little bit helps and I believe her. I am praying for the club!- Faithmovesmts.

SIGN ME UP! Smile I am sitting next to the person who created this club and she is awesome! I am a Christian as well! She has been super busy like any teenager, but misses the club. We as Christians should start supporting each other again through this club! When i browsed all the comments, it looked like God really worked through this website. I definitely need to be encouraged to live my faith everyday! Even though I don't know how to operate technology very well, (hahaha!)I want to use this website! So lets start again! I just wanted to ask if you could PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pray for my cousin! He was in Afghanistan in war for two weeks and a few days ago he stood on a bomb and now he's been unconscience since! A man he was with at the time sadly passed away. So please pray for him to pull through and heal.

so how amazing is this?
my best friend started getting closer to this girl in our youth group and they started having private convos that she won't tell me about. so i was feeling pretty left out cause i've know her since kindergarten and we told each other everything and we have never hid anything from each other.so last night i decided to pray about it. i prayed that i wouldn't feel so left out and my bff wouldn't hide stuff from me. today i was talking to my bff and out of no where she told me what her and the other girl had been talking about. God had answered my prayers and it proved to me that God really cares about you and will help you through your hard times. All you have to do is talk to him and pray about it(:

hey everyone... my dad is thinking of becoming a pastor, and i can't help but think that it isn't the right path for him to take or the right way for him to spread the word of God... so just please keep him and his decision in your prayers. while i was thinking about this is made a sorta half poem, half prayer... its called imperfect...

we are all imperfect,
especially me
but we all follow God and his right-hand man,
they guide us through life, knowing we can;
loving us no matter what we do,
but today i ask can guide us to be with you?
