Alright, so you probably have heard of the store Charlotte Russe right? Well Charlotte Russe is also a very simple French dessert. It is sometimes chocolate, lemon, or even strawberry, but this recipe is just for a plain sweet custard Charlotte Russe: 1 env. unflavored gelatin 1/4 c. water 1 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. milk 2 beaten egg yolks 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 egg whites, beaten stiff 1 pt. heavy cream, whipped 1 pkg. ladyfingers Maraschino cherries Soak the gelatin in the water. Combine the sugar, milk and egg yolks and cook to a custard sauce. Add the water/gelatin to the custard. When the mixture is cold and beginning to stiffen, add the vanilla, beaten egg whites, and the whipped cream. Line the bottom and sides of a serving dish (or a springform pan with a removable bottom) with the ladyfingers and pour in the Charlotte Russe mixture. Chill until firm. Decorate with maraschino cherries.

my least favorite food of all time is definitely anything that comes from the ocean...so any kind of seafood, or anything that lived in water when it was alive. i don't have animal rights issues, or anything like that, i just don't like it

I would rather make a whole meal for my family. I like to cook for them and see what they think of each recipe I think my grandma kind of inspired me to cook and I watched my mom do it all the time, but no one really taught me. I really started cooking when I was about 8 or so and my dad helped me alot
Chippykari1 on 1/6/2010 8:46:35 PM
Would you rather.... Make 8 dozen cookies for the needy Make a full meal (main meal entree and dessert) for your family Make a turkey for just your friends Make a vegetable only meal for a grandparent Which one do you choose?
club_cooking on 1/5/2010 8:28:45 PM
Random questions: Who taught you how to cook? Did your mom? Grandma? Dad? How old were you when they taught you? My answer: My mom started teaching me when I was seven and then I taught myself afterwords, occasionally she will teach me something new though so she still does teach me .

Cooking tip: Cooking chocolate in the microwave might be easier for small amounts but if you are melting a large amount get a electric fry pan and put a few inches of water in the bottom. Turn it on about 250 degrees When it is almost hot put a bowl (plastic or metal doesn't matter) with chocolate in it in the water and stir gently until melted. Turn the heat down and it will keep the chocolate warm enough but not to warm. good luck If you want tips on how to make chocolates (with the filling ect.) Just ask me, I spent this December making them and they turned out delicious

Peanut Butter Cup Grilled Sandwich -An interesting, very easy twist to a grilled cheese sandwich... Ingredients (you don't need these exact measurements) 2 teaspoons margarine 2 slices white bread 1 1/2 tablespoons peanut butter 2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips Directions Spread 1 teaspoon of margarine onto one side of each slice of bread. Put the margarine sides together. This is to keep from getting margarine on your hands when spreading peanut butter. Spread peanut butter over one slice of bread, and sprinkle chocolate chips onto the peanut butter. Remove the other slice of bread from the back of the peanut butter slice, and place margarine side out over the peanut butter and chocolate chips. Place a skillet over medium heat. Fry sandwich until golden brown on each side, 2 to 3 minutes. Cool slightly before cutting in half.

Because of the lack of new recipes being posted I am forced to say that if there is not at least one recipe a week from each recipe poster I will have to remove you from the job I have given you. I apologize for this but it must be done . Also if you would rather have another job just say something and I will change it if I can.

Cheesy Soup This one is easy to make, and is great for beginners. Serves: 1-3 Prep: 10 min Cook: 15 min Total: 20 min Ingredients: 1 can of Tomato Soup (I reccomend Campbells) 2 slices of American Cheese (split into four sections) Small Macaroni (not Macaroni & Cheese! Lol) 1. On a small pot on low, stir in can of tomato soup. 2. On a large pot on high, fill it with water to boil. 3. Take tomato soup can and fill it with water, and fill the soup pot with it. Stir in until even. 4. When water is boiling, pour in half a bowl (or as much as you need) of macaroni. 5. Stir macaroni every minute to be sure it does not stick to bottom. 6. Once soup is warm, add the cheese. 7. After 9 minutes, try one of the macaroni pieces, if it's not done yet, wait another minute or so, and when it's finished pour into a bowl and enjoy!

I don't think it is possible because it wouldn't be supported by facts. But, I would feel bad. But, my articles have made over 10 people vegetarians and also their families! That may not sound like a lot but I just started posting a couple weeks ago nd they are the ones I am aware of.
glamgirlteen on 11/17/2009 10:02:02 PM
Also, I am trying to make my articles different every week for variety.
