i would go for it. just be confident when you ask them out. thats what i would do. if they turn you down, still be proud of yourself for having the confidence to ask them out. just remember, there are plenty of fish in the sea, and there are alot of sixth grader fish too. hope i helped!!

Hey, kids are annoying about stuff like that. Try not to let it bother you too much, because if they see it gets under your skin they'll keep it up. Sometimes when you start dating someone in middle school your classmates will poke fun at you more because the new relationship is something new to talk about it. There's nothing much you can do about it, besides knowing that you are more mature and are above it all. Try to hold your head high, and not let it get to you. Good luck!

i remember being sososo scared about getting my period. hun, we ALL are. everyone's scared of experiencing new things. but trust me, once you have a few periods, it'll seem like a piece of cake to deal with. so try not to worry about it

with that said, here's some tips to prepare:

1. make sure you always keep pads in your backpack. trust me, i was caught of guard at school on my first period and ended up using toilet paper :/

2. look out for signs that your first period may be coming. for me, i get headaches, cramps, backaches, and i'm really emotional about a week before.

3. let your mom, or a trusted adult, that you think it may be coming soon. it's awesome to have an adult that you can go to if you're having any problems once it comes. if you think it's going to be an akward conversation, just write a note. that's what i did with my mom

4. get some old underwear that you rarely wear together, you're going to want to use those your first few periods because i promise you you're going to experience a few stains.

and finally, just enjoy being a girl, because heck, you're almost a woman!
