actuall, HPV is a very common STD that can cause Cervical cancer...but youre also right you can get it from sun exposure

 

Hey girl, I just saw this comment and wanted to comment. You don't get HPV from sun exposure. It can only be obtained thru skin to skin contact. Although remember you can get skin cancer from sun exposure if you're not careful about sun screen!

hey grl bout the whole tampon isue im older and i know how this feels.If your tampon string is bloody and you take it out and its only half full its prob cause u hvnt wiped good enough but there can be other reasobs to.Just make sure to change it just in case it rlly is full.And witht the whole pain issue its normal if you just started wearing tampons.It may hurt for a little but it gets easier i promise.Good Luck

getting your period is no big deal! to make sure you are prepared when it comes, make a period starter kit. in it, put a pair of fresh panties, a pantyliner,a pad, and a tampon. get a few of each and try to take it whereever you go. if you are caught unprepared, just stick toilet paper there. if you have any other questions, just ask me on my profile

OMG i started my period on June 25th, which is my bday!! What a lovely bday present!!!! it wasnt my first though.You will start your period 28 days after you first started. If you have an ipod touch or the iphone, i would reccomend an app called period tracker lite. it is an awesome app that even has a passcode so other people who are looking at your ipod can't see your info.

Hey girl,

Sorry to be annoying about this, but one of our rules is to never let height/weight stats be posted on GL.com.  It makes it too easy for girls to compare themselves to others and make them feel bad.  Instead of constantly stressing about it, just make sure you're healthy!  Get at least 60 minutes of exercise every day and eat healthy, balanced meals.  THOSE things will make you feel great - not worrying about the number on the scale.  Promise!

Hey i've got a question chica! Ok i got my period about a year ago and i get discharge like a lottt. I was wondering if there is any way to predict when you are going to get your period for the month by how heavy your discharge is at certain times? I also have another Q. this is really embarrassing but...i can't find my vagina to put in a tampon! Is it further back then that tiny thing about the size of an eraser on a pencil that sticks out?
