uh hi i need your help.
i think i might be near my period,cuz i have all the right things going on.
mood swings,that changing feeling lose of discharge after having it for like months,ect.
how long do you think its away? im 11 turning 12 in 3 months

sorry about the tampon sitch. my mom used to be totally protective too. if your mom says you can only wear tampons when you swim, show her that you are very mature and that you use them well without any problems. if you wear them for a while over the summer because that is when you will need the most, she will probably come through. if not, explain to her why you like them better than pads, and that you already know how to use them. as for the shaving, I am eleven too, and I started shaving last january. I just was open and honest with my mom about how I felt uncomfortable with hair on my legs and how i thought people were looking at me. I was already using a razor to shave my armpitts, so she was totally okay with it. hope this helps, and ask anything else if you need too.

Hello!
OK, so i got my period in febuary, and i get it consistantly every month, and even though i have only had it for a few months, pads are really getting in the way. i asked my mom if i could use tampons and she said only when u swim, and then i asked why and she was like "cuz ut 2 young!" im not to young. any tips on how i could ask her for more flexibility on that, cuz i mean if i have my period im old enough 2 use the supplies made for it!!!!! and she wont let me shave my legs, they are really hairy, and im really self-consious about it, how could i ask her??? i have never asked her befoe so its a clean slate 2 begin with. btw im 11.THanks!!!!
