hey. Im glad that your summer is fun-filled. I was with family all weekend. we went canoeing and shooting clay pigeons (which ironically arent clay pigeons). my dad finally caved in and got me a cell phone!...now I have to do the dishes for the rest of eternity...but I think it will be worth it in the long run though...I mean, Im not the one paying the bill. my friend also just got back from a trip to China (!) and so Im going to hang out with her tonight. and I also took a tour of Central college. it has a good Fine Arts program. but it wasnt that interesting. you mentioned a fair...what does that entail?

yes! i just read this amazing trilogy called kissed by an angel and it was AMAZiNG! it was a mix of a romance and a mystery which are my two fav types of books. and then ive read a few books by lurlene mcdaniel. have you ever read any books by her? i really like them. their easy short reads and they always make me cry!

well, my summer is going REALLY slow. I only did a few things in the last two weeks: ~I went to the beach the day school got out (the 5th). I went swimming with my friends in lake michigan (which was freezing!) and I lost my glasses. (but I have new ones now). ~I went to an "all-nighter" youth group party with a few friends...and I stayed up all night! so the next day I felt just fantastic (*sarcasm*). ~I went to the mall with my crush and two of his little sisters last friday. that was fun. ~I am also currently looking for a part-time summer job, cuz my orchestra is going on a trip to NY next spring and it costs almost $700...and I dont have that kind of money to just whip out at a moment's notice...so yeah... where are you going on vacation?

my orchestra concert went fantasticly--thanks for asking. we got a standing ovation for playing beethoven's 5th! it was UN-BE-LIEV-able! I only have 2 weeks of school left--but I dont know whether to be happy or sad... whats new with you?

Oh my gosh it is going unbelievably great!!! Thanks for asking! I do the 2 mile, mile, and 4 by 100 relay. My fastest time in the 2 mile is 13:13.42 so far and I'm only an 8th grader! I broke a track meet record with that time and I have the school record!!! And I'm pretty sure I'll get the league meet record on Tuesday! I just love it!!!! How's track for you???

(I had to get my bearings--lol.) yeah, a rumor went around my school for a while back at the beginning of the year that my friend Josh and I were dating. it was kinda annoying. but we're just good friends. hey, my orchestra played El Toro back when I was in seventh grade...4 years ago. lol. thats cool. hey! whats going on in your life that you would describe it as crazy? speaking of which, my life is pretty crazy, too. my friend Josh asked me if I liked video games, and I said "not really,". and then the conversation escaladed into me making this outraegous list of things I would rather do than play video games. some things that were on there (that I did, anyways) were speak in nothing but cliches for a day, and give myself a papercut and squeeze lemon juice on it--whick stings unbelievably. [duh. dont ever be stupid and try something like that.] and I had my piano recital a week ago sunday. I played Victor's Piano Solo from the Corpse Bride. and on this coming tuesday my brother is getting confirmed (it's a catholic thing; I had to do it, my cousins had to do it, my mom had to do it, etc.) so that will undoubtedly be 2 straight hours of boringness. and...my orchestra concert is on the 7th! Im so excited. anyway...why is your life so crazy? heart, KT
