Hey girlie,

Maybe you could hang out with him as friends and see how he acts around you then to get a better sense of whether or not he likes you. You could talk to him about school or sports, or what you like to read or watch on TV. Once you get a casual conversation going, it should flow naturally from there!

I saw your comment on the "Slip into a bikini this summer" club about being 110 pounds, but having fat at the top of your thighs, and I hope you know that it's perfectly healthy to have a bit of fat there. Girls naturally have more fat build up in their core area to keep babies warm when they have them. So don't worry about a bit of fat there.

im new at this school 6th grade tha year is about 3 1/2 out of 4 over so ive got to meet everybody and get friends. my friend katie has liked cy for 4 years and she thinks she has a chance with him. i realllllllly love cy and she knows it. wel sombody told her not sure who but they said that cy had said the only reason he wouldnt go out with her is because of me. not sure if that means that im her freind or what but thats all i know. I LOVE HIM SOO MUCH. a couple of weeks ago my friend in ss talked to cy and asked him if he liked me and if he'd go out with me. she said he said that he didnt really know and that he prob would if i wasnt so weird. i havent talked to him since. we used to be like friendimys before i liked him but now i just feal weird. idk if he knows i like him or what. right now me lilly and kailey (we r all katies bffs) have a plan. since cy said he would go out with her, which he told me and my friends bunches of times he wouldnt but said if she wasnt my friend he would im pretending not to be her freiend so she will ask him out and he will reject her and realize there IS NO CHANCE and move on. but i love him so much and he is single so i wanna just work on him but i need katie out of the way help me!!!!!!!

If he heard you say that you were cold, he was probably just trying to be nice! Maybe you could spend more time with him as friends to get a better sense of whether or not he likes you as anything more.

Hey girlie, try finding a part time job. You could work in retail or in a restaurant to earn and save up some money. You could also see if any families in or near your neighborhood are looking for a babysitter to earn some extra cash.

hi!!!!!!!! i need advice fast! i really don't know how to loose tummy fat. i have been struggling to loose it since 3rd grade. it's not terrible but i mean, i have a bit of a roll of fat there and a muffin top. please help ok i like this guy named garrett but i think he likes a girl named Olivia and i think she likes him too but I text him...or used to text him but he only answered with Hahahahaha and I'm always being really flirty and garrett used to hit me in the head with his binder, try to trip me and pretend it wasn't him, and step on the back of my shoes and in the hall we would look at each other in the eyes and smile but we don't do that anymore and garrett and Olivia nudge each other and push each other into the bus and my friend said they were walking next to each other and one of their friends made a heart and said Olivia and garrett and Olivia said shut up and she yelled at him to the other bus and said by garrett and I think about him all the time please help me!!!

And as for you... I would suggest that you eat black olives and nuts more often. They are a healthy fat that wont make you fat, just the perfect weight. I hope this helps, because i hope you stay healthy and smart and beautiful.

Hey girl, I saw your comment on a recent article & wanted to give you some more tips for getting your mom to OK contacts
They are expensive, but less so in the long run if you get 2-week or monthly contacts instead of new ones every day. I have 2-week contacts and they're great!
For what she said about you not being a good candidate for contacts, do you have an eye condition or something like astigmatism? Because I have astigmatism, but you can get special contacts for that that work just fine!
Like the mod said, show that you're responsible around the house.
When you do talk to your mom, don't be nervous! Think about what you want to say and approach her when she's in a good mood. Calmly tell her that you would like to get contacts, and list some of your main reasons and points. If she says no, don't get upset- try to bargain by saying that you will chip in some of your birthday money, or buy less clothes for BTS if you can get contacts. If she still thinks you aren't ready, ask her to at least take you to the eye doctor and ask them about it.
