i saw your post about growing up, and im the beast advice giver around!
first of all, never feel pushed to do things you dont want to do. tell your mom that you dont want to go meet boys just yet. trust me hun, this is just a phase. tell ur BFF ur not very into boys and making out, that you want to act young while you still can! hang out with people you feel comfy with. also, make alot of close guy-friends so that when you do get interested in dating, you have lots of options! dont be afraid, growing up is scary at times

hey girl! something like this happened to me too and i know how to help. ok so i know this kid too and i dont like him at all he's just like jake (minus the cancer). well we were like bickering for a good half of the school year, but then i thought to myself, just being a nice person to him doesnt mean i have to be buddy buddy with him for the rest of the year. so i started to be nicer and just try to be a little less critical and it worked! he wasnt as mean to me and actually was nicer to me. not to say i wanna be like close friends with him but at least things are better.

sending the pic to jake is a great idea. its not like by sending this pic you are bffs with him so its not gonna change much. just send him the pic and let him know youve been meaning to get this to him and just havent gotten around to it yet. dont worry about it! he'll get the pic and he'll see that you are a nice person without him thinking anything else.

hey girl! talk to him!!! its so so so imporatant that you make a friendship first before anything else especially since you havent seen him in a while. say hi do you remember me and start up a convo! ask how his summer was, what his schedule looks like, and what teachers he has. once he sees that you wanna be friends he'll reach out to you too! remember to take a deep breath, and just let it come naturally. dont plan out everyhting youre gonna say just make it smooth and casual.

I often have the same issue!
It's okay. I mean, think about who this guy is first. He's popular, and he's a flirt. Major flirt, as you said. I think it's good that you want to get to know him, and you should before you get confused with him.
To start to talk to him, get it out of your head that he's some awesome hot guy that you really want to be with, and just think of him as any other person on the planet. You have what's called a shell encircling your happy, comfortable personality. It makes your answers seen bitter and uninterested. Your face probably, like mine, also looks extremely mean and hard when you are talking to him.
Remember to smile while he is talking to you, and laugh, and remember to be nice and respond with more than one word answers. Then, if you get to know him better after talking to him more like this, you guys will become great friends.
