hey im going into 7th grade too. but this is my 2nd year in middle school. uhm. its really helpful to carry a purse you can store tampons/pads, band aids emergency cover up, mirror and stuff like that. its really easy to get caught up in all the drama. never talk behind anyones back even if its the worst person in the world. fighting fire with fire just makes a bigger fire and helps no one. make sure you write down every assignment your teacher gives you. with all the classes throughout the day its very easyto forget. and the i forgot excuse always makes you seem like a slacker. and you dont want that...TRUST me! if you dont know where the classes are one of the other classmates would be able to answer that. middle school is a jungle and its fast and busy. by the end of the day you are gonna wanna take a huge nap. so make sure you get enough sleep every night if you dont and get caught sleeping in class rumors start. and you can be in MAJOR trouble! good luck! its easier once you get used to things.

hey girl! i saw ur comment about waking up with messy hair i try to take showers only in the morning because if your hair is wet when you go to bed, its more likely to be messy in the morning also, i ALWAYS put my hair in a ponytail before i go to bed when your putting your hair in a ponytail, make sure you have a really really really good ponytail so it wont slip if you toss and turn while you sleep hope this helps!

hey I'm never to busy to help someone!!! ♥ For middle school, just be yourself. Don't let anyone change you. You're going to make tons of new friends but you'll probably lose a few. Don't be too upset if you and an old friend start to drift apart. You'll have plenty of friends and you'll still be friends. Also, always do your best in school. You'll meet people who don't care at all and are glad to get D's and feel like they won the lottery with a C-. And if your school has an orientation for new students go! You'll get a tour of the school so you have an idea of where you're going. And once school starts, if you get a little confused on where something is or where you're going, just ask a teacher or one of the older kids. Don't be too shy to or you might be late. (Teachers are usually pretty nice with the whole late thing because you're still getting to know the school)If you're having lockers, I suggest practicing using a lock so you know what to do. Or there are these locks that you can have words to unlock it. But idk if your school allows that (mine didn't). Also be sure to do at least one or two after school activities. You like basketball you said on your profile? Try out for the team! So, just be yourself, get a little understanding of the school's layout, be prepared, do your best, and get involved. hey again! I totally get you, girls are for sure great, but some times hanging with guys can be a nice break from lots of drama. Just Talk Though most people think just talking to a guy means you like them, it’s not true at all. I have plenty of friends that are guys and I’m not interested in a single one of them. Same with my boyfriend, he’s the love of my life and he has plenty of good friends that are girls, but none of them have feelings for each other. So I would just say go up and find a guy you’re not crushin’ on, and chat! See if you guys have some things in common and get to know each other, like you did your girls. Black and White Another thing to keep in mind about being friends with boys is your body language. Even though we can all say a friend is a friend, we have to admit, being friends with the opposite sex is a bit different. Even though boys are girls can for sure be chummy buds, you also have to make sure that you treat your BGF just like you would a girlfriend. Meaning, absolutely no flirting or any other sign that might lead him on to think you like him. Attention Everyone It’s totally annoying when people “assume” things, I know! But all you can really do is be honest, and whenever someone asks, just explain, “we’re just friends.” Let them know that neither one of you have feelings for each other, and your just buds. If they respect you, they’ll understand that. But most importantly, it truthfully doesn’t matter what people think. So if they’re being hurtful, just don’t listen. hey again! Will they let you hang with him if it's in a group? if not, let your parents know you feel ready to take on more responsibility. Tell them you’re not asking to suddenly do anything you want but that you just want to take small steps toward teen-appropriate independence. heeyyy! got ur comment here is a hair style to do for the first day! -sweeped waves- get ur bangs cut to a 4 in. sweep on the side of ur face-a lil above or below ur ear next, every nite, do as i say -take a nice warm shower -towel dry hair but keep it damp -put hair into 4 braids (if u know how to do french braiding, do it on both sides for awesome results) -tie the braids -put a tiny bit of hairspray on the braids ONLY -for best results, use garnier fructis xxl volume foam on the braids 2. -sleep in them and take out next morn. -if u dont want friz, make sure u comb hair good after shower and if u want put garnier fructis antihumidity and flyaway cream. read directions ont the bottle. (but i highly doubt u would get friz unless u toss and turn ALOT in ur sleep. try to stay on one side, so they dont mess up. acne acne solutions include -patience -acne free cycle which include *purifying cleanser *renewing toner *cream rub -acne free severe acne wash -acne free terminator 10 first take a shower then apply the cycle as listed then put on the acne wash and rinse in hot water also, dab on the terminator 10 on the zits ONLY or else ur skin will maybe blister around it. but thats only a sideaffect if not applied directly do this every morning (exept in the morning dont applie the T10 unless u stay home all day since its white and u really dont want it in public) and night before bed ur acne will be gone in at least 3 days hope these tips help katelyn

Hey girly, for first day of school, i could suggest a few things. one is to do half up half down. Take all the hair in front of your ears, then make a pony tail behind your head with it. Next is to pull some back. Take a section of hair, brush it back, the secure it with a clip, 2 bobby pins, etc. Or just use a headband that matches your outfit!!!! Tie a ribbon in it if you want!!!
