You HAVE to tell her. and if you get scared, ask a friend whos gotten "it" if they can bring some pads to the party thing, and give them to you secretly, like in a purse, and explain that ur mom cant get any cuz she had surgery. but only a close friend. theyll understand.

its ok. when ever i have something like this... something akward, i always start out with sooo.... and she always pays attention then cuz she knows i have something important to say.

she actually hugged me for like 10 minutes and was like omg im so sry! its horrible! i was like wow.

but yeah. just tell her. say mom, i dont know how to say this, so im just gonna say it. i got my period.
