Hi. I'm a new member to this website. My username is Magenta2010. I saw that you said your parents let you watch the Twilight Saga Movies but not read the books. I just wanted to say I would literally die for The Twilight Saga. I'm that OBSESSED.My parents,friends and anybody who hears me talk about the Saga says I'm obsessed. Because i have the boardgames,soundtracks,posters,bokmarks,ds games,screensavers,books, know all the words to the movies,and the movies and also it is all i talk about. Oops sorry. I keep talking about myself. I think the books are better than the movies even though the movies are beyond extrodinary.But that's just my opinion. So maybe you should tell your parents about what i said. Because the books are REALLY good if you didn't know that already. And there are very few curse words. Maybe 5 total from all 4 books. But not more than that. Well i'm guessing this is getting too long so bye! Hope your parents let u read the books.

You should try to tweak it depending on what you think your mom would respond positively to personally (: "Hey, Mom, I have a question about boys. You know, ______? Well, I've been thinking a lot lately. He asked me to be his girlfriend, and he's a totally sweet guy. I wouldn't want to go against you, but I like him and I think it would be fun and an awesome experience to date him. Although I'm young, I think I'm pretty good at right vs. wrong so far. I've got a good feeling about him. We would go on dates, but it wouldn't be a big deal. But I do like him, and I really enjoy spending time with him. Hey girl, i saw your comment about telling your mom about a boyfriend and i was wondering if i could help? well, my advice would be to come clean. sit down at a time when she isn't busy or frazzled and you haven't done anything to make her mad lately(: explain to her the situation and tell her about the guy, tell her you've known him forever and he's a really good kid. but if she still thinks you're way to young, i would wait a while and just stay great friends. it's always better not to go behind you're parents backs. emandemf- In my oipinion middle school is too young to date. I mean seriously, kissing in middle school?! Dating and kssing and breaking up and who knows what else?! I just don't think it's right and that people are rushing love and stuff. And I also think romance is overated (just look at the Twilight phonomena!) I think the media just blows it way out of porportion and stuff. I mean seriously, what about in mags like Tiger Beat about famous people dating and breaking up and flirting and stuff? Or in other teen mags where it talks about dating and kssing and flirting and stuff? And like older stars about them having sex and stuff or cheating I mean like seriously! It's love! And it's not like your going to find your true love in middles chool!! Everyone has different opinions. Just saying.

Hey, I'm not a mod but I saw your comment about being to old to go trick or treating. I don't think you're to old at 12 but what ever mom says goes. I know you're bummed about not being able to go trick or treating but hey why don't you get a few friends together for a Halloween sleep over party? Ask mom if it's ok and then invite your closest friends over on Halloween. Still wear your costumes and have everyone bring their favorite Halloween candy to share. Also cook up so yummy food (try out the pumpkin cupcakes on the recipes section in Fun Stuff.) Then you girls can stay up all night watching Halloween movies, dance to some creepy music and tell scary stories. You'll have a blast! xoxo Mariah
