Hey girl!

I don't usually wear skirts, but you could always just hand-sew/hem it! Its really easy, and you could always get your mom/grandma/aunt or anyone else to help out!
you could always try lending/use a neighbours sewing machine, I'm sure they wouldn't mind!

Well let me see i'll give you tips on individual things
Batting- Obviously important. O.K. so make sure you ALWAYS and you could see i stressed always, keep your eye on the ball. If you don't you will not hit it. Second you need to make sure your bat is appropriate length. If you put it on the ground your hand should be on the top of the bat and flat or at least that is how I remember it. Also don't be nervous. If you're nervous you will shake too much and won't be able to hit it right.
Catching: Get a glove that fits your hand correctly. Not too big and not too small. Also if it is a fly ball go right underneath it. Never put yourself in a postition where you would need to dive or fly backwards. Also just watch it.
Pitching and being a catcher you would have to be able to know the basics first then you would have to ask a teamate or coach to show you.
Base Running: Your coach will probably tell you that. Or you could look on youtube I would tell you but it is VERY hard to explain
