Hi, I'm needing advice!.. Sometimes (not always) i feel like i don't fit in with my "friends." Like, for example, sometimes i might feel a bit left out and they won't notice. I'm quite shy and quiet, so i don't usually go up to them and start up a conversation (unfortunately, the last time i tried this, the girl just ignored me and i felt so left out!) and i'm usually wanting them to come and talk to me instead. I'm not good at starting conversations! I have tried with some people but for some reason, the conversation never goes anywhere! So I think my friends are kinda mean... they are supposed to be my best friends my they never really talk to me. They NEVER hang out with me or invite me to ANYTHING! They have these weekly hangouts and sleepovers that they always talk about and put on facebook, I'm so left out, I want to grow closer to them, not apart but idk what 2 do. Hey!! I desperately need some advice. So every year at my school around valentines day, we have the option to send a carnation to somebody. Iv'e wanted to sent one to my crush in past years, but didn't because the people who are in charge of it could easily read the notes. This year i'm in charge, so no one would read it. The guy is really nice so i don't think he'd make fun of me, but he has some friends who might read it and make fun of me. adriz! Hey! I'm so sorry I didn't answer earlier, but I was super busy with getting ready for Christmas, i wasn't on GL! I don't think you should show him again. It was a one time thing, and maybe he's only taking advantage of you, which you should NEVER let a guy do! You should focus on getting to know each other more, instead of what's on the outside.. Tell him that you're not looking for some one that'll just want you for your body. Good luck!

Hey i heard you're good at giving advice so here it is I have a little situation. A couple of months ago i went to my friend's house for a little pool party. She goes to a different school than me so i didn't know most of the people there only my friend that i went with. Her cousin, one of the only boys there was very shy and didn't go in the pool, just hung out the whole time. I didn't talk to him much that day but over time we begin texting and bbm-ing afterwards. We've gotten closer and a few days ago he told me something about the party. He said when i pulled down my pants to go into the pool he saw my butt! He says he says he was the only one who saw it and that it was really good and he was thinking he wanted to see it again lol. He doesn't make a big deal about it but I'm still embarrassed. Hey, so supposedly you give great advice..? That's what I've heard, and I need some--now. There's a guy I'm crazy about, who's two-and-a-half years older than me. The age difference is a little awkward now (I'm in seventh grade, he's in tenth.) but when we're a bit older, it won't seem as awkward, right? Anyway, my parents said I'm not allowed to date hime until I am fourteen, 'cause then the age difference isn't so shocking. But just because I'm not allowed to date him for a year and a half, doesn't mean I can't flirt with him, right? We're pretty good friends, nd he seems like he kind of likes me, but I want to sort of take it up a level, you know? I want to be, like, dating him, but not dating him....I don't know how to explain it. Like, make it as though we're dating but we're not...? Do you get what I mean? We're having a Christmas party next weekend for all the people who work at the restaurant we own--and he's going to be there. That's the perfect time for me to be really cute and flirty with him, or atleast I think so. I'm never nervous around him, but I really need to know some cute, flirty things to say/do to him druing the party. PS: he's pretty much the only ther 'kid' who's going to be at the party (other than me, and my brother, who he's friends with.) so we'll probably just play WII in my basement or something....If I can get rid of my brother, it'll make it better....Anyway, thanks for your time, please respond ASAP, need to know what to say to him!!! Hey, again! (This one is kind of long, and I'm really sorry about this, but you give really good advice!) So the guy I like (the one who has a girlfriend) is kind of sending me mixed signals. So today in P.E. we were playing soccer, and my crush (let's call him X) was about to shoot for a goal. I jumped in to save the ball from going in our goal, since we were on opposite teams. He kicked the ball right at my stomach really hard. As soon as he did it, he came rushing over asking in a kind of worried voice, "Are you okay?" Then, later, we were all playing a big game of Capture the Flag, and I was on X's team. We ended up winning, and I said to me friend, "Wait, so we won?" X just happened to be walking by and he said, "No, OUR team won." I looked at him kind of funny. We were wearing the same color jersey and everything. Then he said, "Ohhh, you were on my team!" I nodded and my friend kind of laughed. Then X just randomly hugged me and said, "I'm sorry," like it was some huge deal that he forgot I was on his team. Does it sound like he might like me? I'm so confused, because he has a girlfriend! What do you think he's trying to say? (Again, so sorry that this is so long!)

But in the end was unable to go. =( I hear it's very beautiful. =) I've seen people do that. But personally I don't really like gels, I like keeping it more natural, I put olive oil, and mayo in my hair. It's helps shape my curls, and makes my hair less bushy. Hey girl! Since you've responded so kindly to my past questions, I'm gonna ask you another question, I guess it can be considered "Fashion" again. xD My hair is naturally really, really, really, really curly. Like some days I could wear it in an afro if I wanted too. It goes to just a few inches past my shoulder when down and curly. And when perfectly straightened out my longest layers (It's really layered, to keep it from getting too bushy!) goes past my elbows. But I don't really like the look of it straightened, plus it takes forever. It's dark brown almost black, with a little but of a natural auburn-y tint. Do you have any ideas on what I can do with it today/thanksgiving? I can dutch braid, if that helps! If you don't wanna answer, it's perfectly fine! Hope you have a great thanksgiving! -MM

@darla123 Hey girlie! I'm sorry to hear that. You really should talk to your mom about it. Tell her how you feel, and how upset you are. Try to keep strong in school, and keep a smile on your face. If you feel like you need to cry, go to the bathroom instead of in front of your friends. They won't question you, and you won't have to get mad at them. When you get home (this is what i do when i'm sad), listen to some sad music, and have a good cry. Let it all out. It'll make you feel better. Eat some comfort food like ice cream, or my favorite nutella! (I know it sounds silly, but it helps) talk to your mom about it, and you'll feel better. Trust me. Good luck (:

Hi Facebooker1240! Lol, how are you? Anyway since you seem to give people advice, and tolerated my annoying I'm-really-quite-new-at-this-site question, is it okay if I ask you for some quick advice? Anyway, there's this kind of dance recital thing that my friends and I attend to watch every year. My friend was going to be in it this year but dropped out earlier on for various reasons. Anyway it's a kinda dressy, but not really dressy event. Like you'd like kinda funny in jeans, and a t-shirt, but a bit too dressy in a skirt. It's like something awkwardly in-between. The whole "Dress-up" rule is more enforced this year (Or at least on the night I'm going) so I really don't know what to wear. How to find the kind of happy medium, (Considering the fact that I haven't really dressed up for much in my life XD) anyway if you can answer this, that be great! If not, it's perfectly fine! If they keep it up, say "could you try and be a little nicer?" (or something like that) if they keep it up, give them some space, and don't bother with them. That's the best thing I can tell you!
