um you said something about advice... well my bff is super mad at me because i told her she overreacted about a sitch that happened a few weeks ago... but i told her through a note because we never see each other one on one anymore and shes even more mad because i didnt say it to her face... i tried talking to her but she wont respond... i cant lose her as my bff cuz then idk wat id do... but do you have any ideas to help me get her back???

Yeah kind of the same with us but we have had r marching band music since the begining of Augest. So know my band director is now doing is now having us take memorization tests for a grade. So yeah now it has pushed and we have gotten r music memorized faster.

Yeah usually the flutes have a easy part but sometimes they have a hard part though. Yeah thats true it is usually the brass and saxs that need the most work.lol. If u just started songs then of course they r going to sound bad for a while but after a while they will sound better. That is the same way for us. So dont worry we sound bad when we first play a song then we get better and better each time u play it.

Thats cool.Yeah the only reason my junior high band sounds good now is now she lost all of us when we graduated and my band director lost all the kids that never practiced.lol. I was kind of one of them but I always did know my part. Well now it kind of depends we now need to practice American barndance really badly. lol. It sounds really bad.lol. So yeah but the rest of it we sound good. lol.

Thats cool. Hey your band is proabaly not that bad. Thatis what everyone says about there band a lot. Yeah the high school is good of course cause we are older and stuff. Also in the high school band the kids from the school I went to they started band in 4th grade so most of us have been playing since then. While the other school district which is to schools one is k-5 and then there is the other middle school and they had to cut music so kids could learning how to play a insterment in 6th grade. So yeah I kind of have a advantage. lol.

Yeah I have heard of Blue Lake. Dont know anybody who has gone there but I have heard of it. Yeah r bands r pretty good. My mom told me that the junior high band at my grade school is sounding really good compared to the high school band it is soundong good. Also today the other middle is school is right by the high school so we heard them practicing early this morning and they were sounding good too. Dont worry a lot of bands sound bad at first but it gets better over time.

The high school band is not either. Neither is the junior high band that I was in in junior high. Alos usually junior high bands do not go to compeitions. Idk what my band got I will proabaly find out tomorrow. Hey for ISU I met people who drove 3 or more hours just to get to this band camp. Yeah the song appilation springs is good but it gets really annoying after a while. Since I have been playing it since the begining of Augest u would see my point. lol.

yup i am, im tryin out for cheerleading i think, but since it's the first year we can do the sport, they have everyone that wants to do it try out, and they automatically make it! i hope they still do that! but i have no idea what routine or what im gonna do for tryouts yet, but i have a few months!

FOr football games we r playing Appilation Springs, Dance from Simple Gifts,and American Barndance. We also have are schools Lolalty and War Cry. We also learn pep tunes too. We just had r first marching band field competiton today. This is the first time the high school has ever gone to one. Also ISU band camp is a lot of fun. If u have a chance u should go. Ask ur parents. It is a lot of fun and u get to meet people who love music just like u.

Yeah thats true but most of the sports at school are a big deal but mostly football is a big deal. But nobody really cares about band. But at least I show a lot of deication. I have gone to band camp at ISU over the summer. I have been there for 2 summers now.

Thats good. We are marching 87 this year with color guard. In high school yeah there is a lot of competition for sports. Even in junior high the biggest games were agains the other junior high and the catholic school. So yeah my town u r either in dance, on cheerleading, on the football team,or playing soccer. lol. So yeah it is a big deal. lol.

I got into symphonic winds which is good cause that is the higher band. Most of the kids from my junior high got into that band then the kids at the other junior high.

like, she likes dogs, just not my dog o well, i think im changing her mind a bit! :SD yippee! but ya like they give us a bunch of homework, but we usually get like 15-20 minutes to get some of it done throughout the day and stuff so usually, not too much homework, only when we have test then they book us tell we have no room in our backpacks!

I love historical fiction too. Well, I love all books. Here goes some good book suggestions (prepare yourself): Lord of the Rings, Jane Eyre, A Drowned Maiden's Hair, Dream Factory, Homecoming,Prom, The Magic Thief series(I love those!) The Book Thief, anything by Elizabeth Scott, The Outsiders, the Witches, Chasing Brooklyn, the Hidden Children series, The Tiger Rising, The Princess Bride, and Holes. i think that'll keep you busy a while!
