Hi gemstone_smile5, while I respect your opinion I strongly disagree. Kids our age in Asia are kicking. Our butts education wise so adding days or hours to a school day or year is what we need. There are kids in Asia who go to school to 273 days out of the school year, we go to school for 180 days. They have the ability to memorize 11 numbers in 12 seconds, and we have the ability to memorize 9 numbers in 12 seconds. Plus, kids already don't pay attention in school so if we didnt have the No Child Left Behind program, our classes would be smaller and harder in a good way. So that the kids who didn't want to be there didn't have to be there. Kids in Asia have to work harder to get into high school than kids in America have to work to get into and Ivy League college or even law or medical school. Our public education system is failing us and we need to fix that. Thanks for listening to my rant I have no intention to offend you and I am sorry if I did.
