Really? I thought I was alone! Whenever I tell someone that's my bad habit, they look at me like I have 3 heads. My dad said its most likely caused by stress. I'm trying really hard to stop. I've noticed that if I wear a ring or necklace, I'll mess with it instead of my lashes

i almost never wear makeup unless i'm going to homecoming or some special event. i should probably start wearing mascara though cuz it will help me stop a bad habit i have. i hav the bad habit of pulling my eyelashes...

That's weird. yeah homecoming IS different from middle school dances. in middle school, i just wore jeans and a cute shirt. u were allowed to wear a dress, but very few people did. so i guess it does make sense. u should be allowed though. btw i just noticed that the poll today says how r u enjoying ur day off? were u out of school today? i wasn't....:_(

First of all, I loved sixth grade! It's so much better than elementary school! For homework, try to complete the homework right when you get home from school. I do this and it's nice because once i'm done, i have the rest of the night to do what I want! For organization, I would just try to clean out things you don't need every so often - like that piece of scrap paper from that test you took three monthes ago- you probably won't need.
For friends-some girls change in middle school because they think they're so old and cool. Just try not to, okay? Just be yourself; I unfortunatly lost friends because they changed. For boys, just be smart
For clothes, try wearing things that you love. I read one time that if you wear clothes you love, you will be happier. So pretty clothes=happier you!

Hey girl.
Tips on starting 6th grade...
The key is that you have to be confident. Where a cute outfit that makes you feel amazing. For example, wear that gret new pair of jeans and that cute sweater you love. For your hair, curl it or put it up in a tight bun. As for your makeup, light mascerra and light pink or light brown eye shadow. Also, keep a smuke on and sit in frount of the class room so the teachers think u are an A+ student.

Hey girl! You need advice about you BFF, so I've got some. She seems a little selfish, but I think she's just scared that you might throw her words back at her. For when she's being sarcastic about your clothes, say that you like your clothes, and don't appear dented by her words. She might think you don't care when she's sarcastic because you laugh with her, but there is a LONG distance between real laughing and fake. As for making new friends, she should be happy that you're popular and she should be certain you won't replace you. The world doesn't circulate around her, so i advice to grow a backbone(not really!!) and the next time you feel annoyed- for whatever reason, tell her that a- you LIKE having other friends, and she shouldn't control that, b- your clothes are FINE and she's not one to judge. Honestly, from what I hear, she's not a good best friend. Don't replace her, exactly, but be prepared to let someone special into your life, aka BF or BFF. If it keeps going, I think you should make a lot more friends(DO NOT give in to what your BFF says) and prove to her that people like you for who you are. Sorry that its' so long, but my BFF lives in another country, and I miss her SO much it hurts. Hope this helped! AND can you join my club, Lights, Camera, Action?
