hi so about the soccer post... i play soccer wear baggy sport shorts you can find them at any sporting goods store along with cleats, shinguards and the soccer socks, i would wear like t shirts sport shirts like the free shirts you get at fundraisers, school shirts etc. and you need to be in shape so a little before soccer starts maybe do some running and conditioning and bring water and a ball to all practices, make sure you wear your hair up and out of your face.. any more questions just write on my profile

Hey girlie, saw ur post abt joining a soccer team. YAY soccer is sooo much fun, i learned almost everything i know abt it from youtube, but here are some basics. Clothes: loose shirts or even tanks for practice, as well as some short-ish loose shorts. You (of course) need well fitting cleats and shin guards. Definitely wear ur hair up if u can. Excersices: Well I did most of my training during the practices, but my coach showed us some drills. 1. Draw a line around 5 yards away from you and mark your starting postition, sprint to it then back, then run and raise your knee to your chest with each step (high steppers) and sprint back, then do kareokes (grape vines)there and back, then run backwards to the line and sprint back, lastly gallop there and back. Another good drill is to meet up with some friends and practice both long and short passes. Make sure you always stretch well before excercising at all (ouch i made that mistake). Run as often as you can, and look up some cool soccer moves to practice (ex. rainbow move, kroyf turn etc). For rules there is the basic no knocking anyone over when they are in possesion, ummm when passing onto the field you must keep both feet firmly on the ground, offsides- when you are on the fields you must at all times stay behind (more to your side than the opponents) the last defender (not the goaly) I hope this helps!!! OH and always ALWAYS keep hydrated, listen to your coach, play clean, and JUST HAVE FUN!!!! <3 Mackenzie PS- GOOD LUCK!!!

hey saw your spin the bottle comment- and im guessing the moderator didnt help. im in middle skool, i think i can help you with that. first ask the host(ess) of the party if what kind of games theyll b doing there. if they respond spin the bottle, ask them of any others. if thats it, then opt out of the party. dont do something you dont like like that or youll be stuck lip-locked with random guys for two hours. if there are more games the host(ess) can name, then go and do as the moderator said.

Thxs. 4 all the help on splits.
glamgrl250 on 8/20/2010 9:51:02 PM
heyy i saw your comment asking about learning to do a split and i think i can help! it's all about the hamstrings, the muscles around the back of your knee. to stretch your hamstrings, do exercises like: lie on your back, stick your leg straight up in the air. it sounds easy, but you have to keep your leg straight and you can really feel the stretch. any stretches that you feel in the back of your knee will help your hamstrings! it reaaally improves flexibility, once you've got good hamstrings, you just have to keep practicing your splits! good luck girl!

HAZELELMDUST on 8/17/2010 9:19:16 PM
hey girl ok for your splits: press down to your split keeping your knees straight. press through your hips and keep your back flat. to land your turns, use your arms, keep them strong but not rigid. SPOT!!!, and stay all the way up on releve also just do your best in class. its the best you can do and it wil show your teacher that you are serious about getting better
