So I'm thinking about getting bangs but I'm not sure what type of bangs would look good on me: I've got an oval face, layered, straight, fine, brown hair and I'm tall. Any ideas? ( blunt, side bangs...) Thanks !

i think seniors should be allowed to date, but freshman is a little young because freshmen aren't mature enough yet to understand dating. seniors are about to enter their new life and i think they need to be ready for college dating, by getting some experience.

I really need to meet guys! There aren't any at my school, and the ones I know at my church are definitely not options. The only other way I see guys is through music and since we're always rehearsing there's no time to talk to them anyways. I don't want to join a club/production or anything just to meet them, but I really do like having a boyfriend and it's been a while ): Help?

THANKS EVERYONE FOR ALL THE RESPONSES! Most people people said it was okay, and a few people said it wasn't. My opinion? It all depends on the two people. Maybe the freshman is an older freshman and the senior is a younger senior. Maybe the freshman is very mature for her age. Many factors play into this, and I think you need to know the two people before you decide.

To the freshies and seniors dating- im a freshman, and i think its perfectly fine, age doesn't matter much anymore, as long as u can keep the relationship after they graduate.

To the whole freshman/senior thing, I think they should "allowed" date, because who are we to "allow" someone to do something. However, if the question is "should" they date, then in most cases(and yes there might be exceptions) I would advice against it. One person just started high school, and the other is finishing it. That's a really big gap. Also if your fourteen and he's eighteen, that's a BIG gap, at least until you get into college. I feel like in most cases the older guy is just trying to take advantage of the younger inexperienced girl. If you want to date older, sophomores and juniors are fine. You still have a couple years left in school together.

Hey I have a problem, I've been friends with a guy for a loooooong time like best friends... For like um 9 years,(we even have a song, its JUST TO SEE YOU SMILE) all my other friends think its stupid that I have a best friend that's a guy I wonder if their just jealous. But that's not really the problem, although advice on that would be helpful too... My school is about to have a spring dance and my friends are trying to pressure me into asking him to the dance, (i wasnt going to go to the dance i was going to go hunting with him, my brother and a couple other guys i know), but I'm afraid that it would just make things awkward :/ and I don't want that... Plus we've had this hunting trip planned since christmas break...I don't think I like him like that, probably cause I've known him forever and I'm a tomboy and ever sense we were little he's just treated me like im one of the guys... Which I like
So should I give in to my friends and ask him to the dance or should I not go, and hang with my guy friends like I had originally planned? Please help!!!

Hey I saw a comment that you give advice and I just happen to need some.

So, I have a huge crush on this guy. I liked him last year for months but he had a girlfriend then and I stopped because we lost connection in the second semester. and now I like him again (since August) and we have classes next semester as well. Anywho, I have no idea if he likes me or not. He's normally really nice to me and defends me if someone playfully makes fun of me and always cheers for me (like, hes always like "yeah Jaqi!" or "you did awesome" and cheesy stuff like that.) He's given me his jacket before and we've shared food and stuff. hes also kind of held my hand twice before, but he said "becoming blood siblings" (we have this weird inside joke with friends in band.. don't ask). he's also called me pretty (once at a band concert after i told him he looked sharp) and tries to make me feel good about myself because he knows i don't have a high self-esteem. he also said something about getting me an early birthday present (which i was surprised, because we both know im the giver and always buys us food or something hahaha). we talk almost every day in school, i don't have his number.. yet... its very easy to talk to him. we've spent time one on one together a couple times and we didn't completely joke around, we talked about some deeper stuff hahaha. but sometimes im afraid he might like another girl because i think she flirts with him even though shes going out with someone else. plus she has told me we would be cute together and should go out and knows that i really like him; but its not the same with her as it is with me. but then again there are moments that i think he might actually like me. i want to tell him i like him cause i think we'd be great together. i thought about telling him when i fix my old ipod and give it to him (he knows hes getting it) but its gonna be awhile until it gets fixed and i don't want to wait too long. so what are some ways to tell him i like him?

CherryFizz - Don't worry. Your time will come, but since it hasn't, be glad! Always carry some pads in your backback or purse. Thats the best way to be prepared. And Usually, the first time you get your period, its not a huge, heavy flow. I hope everything goes well!

Thanks! It's not going so well. The other day Kaina and I got into a fight because I said I wasn't picking sides. Haley asked me if I wanted to sit by her at lunch and talk to her at recess, so I did. I was planning on spending time with Kaina later that day because she invited me over. Then after recess she was talking to my other friend and when I walked up and Kaina turned around and put her back towards me. I asked her if she was mad and she said yes because I was talking to Haley. Then I just walked away. At the end of the day the next day, she decided to shove me out of the way, so I told my teacher, cuz this isn't the first time she has been this ridiculous. She sent me rude texts the weekend before so I also told my teacher about those. My teacher went to the principal, and the principal is seeing if the counselor will talk to Kaina about what she has done.

HorsieLove13 - I love to sing too! It's like my favorite hobby. Don't worry, I even hate singing to my parents, and I can only sing around my friends. Try asking your parents if you can take voice lessons. That way, only one person can hear you, and most likely they will start off singing with you. Your instructor will be totally used to people who aren't the most comfortable singing alone. If voice lessons aren't an option, try singing with someone else (duet?) That way, it will be a lot less scarier. After you have got the hold on singing in front of other people, get involved! Make sure you keep with it and don't quit! hope this helps you!

nerdisthewurd26 - I think a lot of us feel alone from time to tome, but if it is happening too much then you def need to do something! I know for a fact that my friends talk behind my back from time to time, but that is normal because people get mad at each other. Try giving it some time, but if it doesn't work, talk to them. Tell them how you have been feeling. If you aren't really comfortable doing that, maybe its time to get some new friends! It can be scary to think about, but I have moved to new schools quite a few times and i know what its like. Try opening up to more people, and just smiling and talking a lot, and before you know it, you will have new pals that are more your style. Please tell me how everything goes! <3grace
