It's ok your friend didn't intend to hurt your feelings cause she didn't know u had a crush on him. If u told her, she probably would have thought twice before asking him out. So if she's a very trustworthy BFF, it would be ok if u would want to tell her about your crush next time.
Your crush was probably embarassed or didn't have the guts to tell your friend, "yes" when she originally asked him what he would say if she asked him out. He might have been fearing rejection cause she wasn't really asking him out at that time, so decided to say "no".
Or he didn't want to hurt her feelings when she actually asked him out or was pressured to say "yes," so there's a chance he still might like u!
Don't worry! If your crush actually isn't interested in your friend he wouldn't bother getting all lovey-dovey & going on a bunch of dates with her. So just cause he said "yes" it doesn't really mean he likes her.
Don't fret! he might ask you when the time is right. So start some simple coversations with him so he'll feel less nervous around u when he'll wanna ask u out.
Continue to feel happy for your friend do some actvitvies to keep this off your mind. If still keep feeling sad from time to time, you should really consider talking to your friend and let her know how you feel. A boy should never come between friendship, it's not worth the fall.
Try to get his e-mail so u guys could talk and hang out. You don't rlly hav to be his GF u can always start as buds! There are tons of other guys out there!

Hey girl I love Scheel's, I actually live in SD.
Ok about your guy. He sounds like a sweetie. He totally likes you! I know you don't want to really talk to him, but how else are you supposed to get to know him? The more you talk to him, the eaiser it will get everytime. Ask him for his email or phone number so you can text him sometime. You could ask if he wants to hang out, you don't have to say it's a date, just call it hanging out! Don't worry, he likes you!
