Thanks so much for the cellphone advice! But I have another problem now! So the guy I like just graduated but since we are on swim team together I've gotten to see him all summer... until now. We just had our district meet which means all we have left is state if we qualify. Well I didn't qualify and he did so last day of district I was like ok I have to talk to him today because it might be the last time I ever see him again! In between events I went to the practice pool to warm up a little before my next event. I noticed him walking around like he was looking for something but thought he might be looking for our coach or something. Well I kept swimming and got out a little later. When I went back he was gone.... he had to leave early. I think it might be possible he was looking for me because it kinda seemed like he liked me back but now I might never know. Should I go to state to watch him and tell him how I feel? I don't want to live with the regret of never letting him know! Please help I'm so confused right now!

This is tricky and you want to proceed with a tactful response. Meaning, you can say something to him about breaking up with his girlfriend but in a nice sort of "sugar coated" way. So instead of saying "JUST BREAK UP WITH HER ALREADY!" which is probably what you feel like saying, you have to be a little bit smoother. So when it is just the two of you, no audiences, let him know that 'you really care about him and you understand that he really cares about you. But, its not fair to the other girl that he is still with her when the two of you really like each other. But you also understand that it is going to take some time to break down a relationship as you dont want to hurt the other girl's feelings.' You can put that into your own words, just make sure you say it nicely and when you are alone with him. Good luck girl!

hi! i've always been known to do very well in school, but this year I have a math teacher that really cannot teach. I mean, she teaches something really hard and has a test on it one or two days later. I've been freaking out about my grades, and today I just got so nervous that I'm almost positive that I got a less than stellar grade on my test. I've asked for extra credit, but I think, with my latest grades, I might have a C or D. I don't want that on my report card. How can I deal with my teacher and feel more confident in her class???

Hey! I really think I'm getting over him! Thanks so much for your help! The thing is, I was afraid that I would never get over him. I have tried multiple times in the past, but I think the reason I could never get over him is because I was doing it more for my friends. They all wanted me to get over, they told me he wasn't as amazing a guy as I thought he was, and they didn't want me to get hurt by him. So, I tried to get over him for them, but it never worked. Now I realized he was hurting me, so I decided to get over him for me. And now it's actually working. I feel much better without having to worry about him and what I look like to impress him. See, I never really wear any makeup, just some coverup and mascara, but I stopped wearing any at all, because I dont have to impress anyone. This saves me a lot of time in the mornings, so I have time to do much more important stuff. My grades have already started to go up! I am so glad that I decided to do this! But right now I have another huge problem. This weekend we have our first math tournament! The thing is, it is also our hardest. I have SO much to do! I have this huge folder of lots of formulas I have to memorize(it's 22 pages of like 20 formulas on each page) and I have to memorize it by this Saturday. Also, we have exams next week! I'm gonna be gone ALL weekend(math tournament, christmas party I have to go to, church, and math tutoring) so I have like absolutly no time to study for exams this weekend, which means I have to study all this week. Also, I have to work past tests and ciphering, so I can be ready for the math competition! And on top of that, we are still doing work in all our classes, so we have our usual amount of homework, too! I have no time for all of this! What am I supposed to do!!! Even my science teacher told me I look really stressed, and like I haven't had enough sleep. I don't know how to get all of this done on time! I wish I had a good memory, and could memorize stuff easily! Do you have any tips for me? Thanks so much for all your help! And sorry this is really long!

To tell you the truth that is not at all what I wanted to hear. But it's probably time someone told me something truthfully instead of just something that will make me feel better. I need to get over him. My grades are going down and I can't concentrate on anything. I just keep daydreaming about him. And it will seem like one day he likes me and I get all happy and excited, and the next he doesn't and I get all depressed. And I know that isn't good for me. The thing is, for a while there I seriously thought he would be different and I felt differently about him. But if he is "the one" we'll meet again eventually, right? I won't lose someone i've always dreamed of having if I forget about him until I can date, and he goes of to college, will I? These are the questions that have been bothering me the most. I keep having these weird dreams where i'm at graduation, crying, and he goes off and I never see him again. Maybe that's why i'm hesitant to let him go. Please help, I know that was really depressing, but to tell you the truth it felt good to get that off my chest! (:

HI! I can't tell if this guy likes me. He lets me wear his necklece which is something couples typically do at our school. We talk and laugh alot when we get the chance and everyone always says we should go out. But he never talks about anything like that...and if his friends are around he ignores me. I always catch him looking at me but I can't tell if its because I'm looking for him too?...hes really thoughtful though like I told him I had a test I was worried about and he walked me to class and yelled good luck....what do you think?

Hey! So I haven't posted on here in forever because I have been SO busy. So the guy that I liked I've been talking to. Not like "talking" to him, but just getting to know him better. And just last weekend he was talking to my friend on the way to the football game, and they were talking about me. So he knows that I like him, and he said that he didn't want to go out with me because of the age difference(remember he is a senior and I'm a freshman), but he said he would make an exception if I was more outgoing. So yesterday at church we always play some kind of game first. I never really participate in those games because I don't like getting up on the stage. Yesterday, though, I went in an attempt to be more outgoing. Afterwards, when we were having the greeting time he came right over to our group and shook everyone's hands, but when he got to me he goes hey, sarah. It was great because he had never shook my hand before when we had the greting time. Do you think this might mean he likes me? Also, I have another problem. See, I had never really talked to my parents about if I was allowed to date, because I never really needed to. But, I talked to my mom about it and she said I can't date until I'm seventeen. If he ends up liking me back what am I supposed to say? Thanks for all your help! (:

Hey! You were totally right! I guess there was just something wrong with him that day. We talked twice today, and it was pretty great! I am just so glad that we are finally talking! So in one of our classes we are doing this project where we make a video. I want to do a video where we interview some of the people on yearbook staff because he is on yearbook staff, and then I can interview him!
