heey girly ! i think every girl has to deal with the 'dating issue' with their 'rents. Don't think of them as being unfair and harsh, but they just dont want ya to grow up soo fast! Maybe you should talk to you're mom first, since dads are usually more protective, and a mom will have a girls experience. Just tell her how you feel you're ready for this kind of maturity and you want to be more independent. Let her know how this boy is willing enough to wait for you to date, and how you find that him saying that proves he's a good guy. Tell her you want her to meet him, and that she can give you a curfew. A good idea is to have the first 'date' at home. You can have dinner with your boy and your family to show that he is a good guy. As for the fact that you are not ready to kiss him, it just means you havent grown into the idea of doing anything serious. If he is a good guy, he'll accept it and wait. And when the right time comes, go for it! Once your heart says it's time, it's time. ~Claire$$ Let me know how it goes!
