I think being this guys friend first sounds like a great idea! Making friends is super easy, especially when you had a previous friendship with him. So, if you have any classes with him or if you see him in the hallway just, with a confident smile (: walk up to him and say hi! He'll probably remember you if you were close, but if not don't feel rejected or embarrassed, just remind him and ask how he hes been. He will probably want to catch up with you too! Once you two are talking again you can re exchange phone numbers so you can talk outside of school too. You could also investigate the use of Facebook or Myspace, if you are allowed, or even email/instant messaging to keep in touch. Good luck girlie, im here if you have any other questions!
