hey girl! sorry i took so long to reply im still trying to get in the hang of being on more often. anyway.....
the relationships where you are bffs first usually turn out the best because you guys are already so close, and you usually get to skip the awkward, nervous stage, but you have to decide if you want to risk it and try for a relationship. it really seems to me like he likes you, and if you think you like him, it's probably worth a shot. Maybe try flirting a little (or a little more if you do already) and see how he responds. if he flirts back, it could be time to tell him how you feel. if you guys do end up going out, i would suggest telling him that no matter what happens, you guys were bffs first and you guys will be bffs to the end, even if there is a break up, and i would make sure he agrees before starting anything, because you don't want to lose a bff if this doesnt turn out as well as you hope. if you like him and he likes you, i think you should go for it. you only live once, and you don't want to miss out on an oppertunity that could make you happy.

omg when i was on my road trip vacay we went to a library to print out instructions and i went to go look at the books and i found the manga section and i had my pure with me and i took out my hello kitty mini notepad thing and wrote down books that i thought sounded interesting and when i got in the manga section i wrote probably 4 books down and one was Dorothy Of Oz.

Hey girlie--

I'm so sorry it took such a long time for me to respond. Because of school duties I haven't been able to go on as much as I used to. Now, to your problem...

I have a friend who's acting the same way but instead of becoming anorexic, she's starting to cut herself. Now, both of these things are very dangerous and they happen because people don't have good self-esteem. What I think you should do is just kind of subtly compliment her on different things. It may seem like a small task but it goes a long way. Like, if you see her wearing different earrings or having a new hairstyle say that the earrings look good or that "the hairstyle really compliments your eyes". But you have to actually mean it too. They just can't be spoon-fed compliments. BFFs (and friends) can tell that about that sort of thing. Since it's weight she's REALLY worried about, compliment her on how her outfit looks! Like, if you see her in a new pair of jeans you can say, "Those jeans look really good on you!". If that doesn't work, I'd say get professional help. Anorexia's a REALLY dangerous disease. Get help from a school counselor, a parent...someone you know that'll make a good impact on the outcome of the situation and someone that you can trust.
