Hey girl, I know how you feel. My mom won't really let me date either. Just become really good friends with him, but tell him that is the reason why you can't date. If he really wants to date you, he will understand that your parents care for you and he will wait for you, because you are worth it!

hey girl,
I am Club Lingo's boy advice columnist, so this is my job! Next time you need boy advice you can put it on my profile . So you have some trouble talking to guys. No offense to cowgirl, but don't follow that advice, it is desperate and pushy. And if u ask for his # in a note like she said he will freak-out and think he has a stalker on his hands. Some of my advice is to start off with little things. Say hey to him once or twice in the hall, sit next to him in class, secretly attempt to get next to him in the lunch line, and those kinds of things. They may seem scary at first, but it will get easier. Once you are comfortable with that, talk the plunge and start a conversation. Here is why you don't do what cowgirl suggested:
a) believe it or not you could be sending off the WRONG message
b)The "rude person" could just be a guy who isn't interested in being more than friends, and pushing him like this will make this guy AND his friend pull as far away from you as possible
c) when you ask for a guys #, you will never know whether he is being sympathetic or wants to be buddies, but I can almost guarantee he doesn't want to text as much as you do if he didn't ask.
d)I have a friend who uses cowgirls method, and she gets dumped or rejected EVERY TIME! The two guys who said yes, made it obvious (1 told me!) that it was a sympathy date! Also, they both lied about their reason not to go out!!!!! For every positive boy experience I've had, she's been rejected. :-(.

Another important guy fact to remember is if they didn't ask you, they ain't ready a.k.a. if you ask their not as into you as you are to them!

Remember, I don't always get the advice posted to the clubs profile, but I always get the stuff posted on my profile!

Hey I saw ur post on club lingo!!!!Ok so I have the same problem as u!!!Here are some tips, if u r at skewl and u have the same class say oh hey ur in here tht is so kewl!!!!Or if u have a guy friend tht is friends w/ him and u see the talking walk up and say oh hey there u r I have been looking all over 4 u, so wut's up???To ur bgf of course, then look at the guy u wanted to talk to and say oh hey sry am I interupting something!!!!Or u cld just casually slip him a note asking wut his # is so tht maybe ya'll cld text each other sometime!!!!HAHA these r somethings I do...!!!!They work w/ most guys unless the guy is a rude person!!!
