Hey girl!

I used to get super nervous for school too. You know you like school and your friends there, so just try and remember that! Think about how you felt at the end of last school year. Probably relaxed and comfortable. So although the first bit of school can be super nerve racking and not so fun, you know it gets way better! Wear a comfortable and cute outfit and bring a yummy lunch your first day. You'll be ok!

I don't think you're too young to be thinking about boys! You might wanna take some time to crush on him and get to know him even better before dating (because dating in 6th grade might be a little early), but you can totally still have those feelings! Not weird at all As for crushing on your BGF, you have to weigh your options: have the crush and pursue it to see where it goes, or try to ignore it so you can keep your friendship the way it is. Just try to enjoy the chemistry you have and see how things grow! Flirt a little and, if he seems into it, flirt more Just read his signs and see where it takes you!

I need help! So my friend got back from her week of sickness. So i was excited to see her, but everytime i try to get her attetion she ingores me completely! Then i emailed her about it but she thought i was overreacting! Since the she has been burned up about it! since we are on thanksgiving break this whole week i don't know if i can face her again about what happened? Can u help me?

When you get back, try to apologize for this misunderstanding. It's better in person, but you could even write her an email to say something like, "I'm so sorry I overreacted. I guess I just felt like we hadn't hung out in a while so I wanted to see if anything was wrong... you're an awesome friend so I didn't want to lose that! I apologize!" Say that in person or through the email and hope she understands. After this blows over, try not to come on too strong. Ask her to hang out or say hello in the hallways, but don't freak out if she seems detached. She might still be tired/sick so she's not really "with" it. Try to be a little understanding and I'm sure it'll all smooth over!

You could either continue liking him in silence....or you could say something to him! You don't have to profess your love for him right there, but saying a quick "Hey - did you catch that last announcement during homeroom? I totally spaced and missed it" could help break the ice. After this, introduce yourself and, with a friendly "See ya around!", be on your way. Then when you go into homeroom and use your locker after this, you can give him a friendly smile or wave. It's little things like this that lay a foundation for a closer relationship - whether that's friendship, "crushship," or eventually a relationship. Ya gotta start somewhere
