MOD MOD Help please? This is going to be long... Sorry :/ So I have these friends, C, K, and N. C and K, two seniors, were dating until a few days ago. I was talking to C, and she was telling me how much it hurts to see K talking to N, a junior. She thinks there's something going on there. Thing is, I really like K too, but there's no way I'd ever do anything to hurt C. But now I'm afraid to talk to K for fear of upsetting C. I don't know if it would bother her, because I'm a few years younger than them, but who knows? She's weird like that. What should I do?!

 

Hey girl, I don't think you have to avoid talking to him completely.  It's totally fine to be polite 'n friendly, just like you would to other friends at school.  As long as you don't get super-flirty, I don't see any reason why she should be mad.  xoxo

~MODMOD~ Hey!! Soo I like this guy... who is my brother's best friend. He smiles at me and says hi whenever he sees me, but I get so tongue-tied and never know what to say. Plus, we have almost nothing in common. I know he'll never like me, but how can I get him to see as more of a friend than a little sister? And I can't really talk to my friends about it because they are NOT supportive because they think he's ugly- he's not gorgeous but I'm not stupid and shallow and go for looks alone. What can I do? Thanks so much!

 

 

Hey girly girl! I would definately work on making convo with him! Does he play a sport? Compliment him on his last game. Do you take any of the same classes? Ask him for help on something that you don't understand! Or, simply ask him how his weekend was Smile

MODMODMOD I really need help... there are these two guys, one of whom is my ex who has liked me for a while. I thought I was over him because we were never really right for each other, but whenever I talk to him I want to kiss him! I don't get it! I try to forget him, but something about him makes me want him again o___o I don't want this! Should I just completely stop talking to him? And the other one is my brother's best friend o___o I kind of really like him, but I know I'll always just be "[My brother's] little sister" to him. Hey chica! To answer your questions:

1) I got mine at Old Navy and love, love, love them! JCPenney also has some great Decree gladiators (which are prob on sale now!). And if you have an H&M or Forever21 near you, they have lots as well.

2) One way to gain confidence, is to get involved in lots of different activities. Sports, artsy things, theater, clubs, etc! That way, you can find something that you enjoy, and you're good at. And, you can meet lots of new friends as well!

3) You can also meet lots of guys from my answer above. For guys at other schools, you can do some community activities. Go to the YMCA and shoot hoops, take a class, have some friends introduce you to their guy friends Smile

nm going on right now, how about u? I'm nervous for school to start again!! But i can't wait to see my friends that i haven't seen in a while. I'm going on a 10 day vaca on the 14th. My family of 8 is flying down to South Carolina (staying for like 2 nights)then driving 2 Orlando, Florida (staying for a few nights)then driving to Clearwater, Florida (staying there for a few nights) then flying back home. Whew! haha what about u?? any vaca's this summer or just relaxing???

ya i do know a lot. one of really close friend's mom died last may, my neighbor, & my aunt. also my other friends' dad and other friend's aunt, uncle, and grandparents. and a friend of mine (in my grade) has cancer too. it was really beautiful and emotional. we got a whole group of people together to go, and it was really cool.

Hey girl! I read your question about R and N. Here's my advice: I'd recommend making a pro's and con's list for each boy. decide which one you really, really like more and which one would be a better boyfriend. Choose and give that boy a ton of flirty signals, grins, and invitations to have fun with you and your girls. The one you don't choose, tone down the flirting. If he's flirting with you a lot, it's probably that he's getting the vibe you like him and flirted first. Most boys don't flirt unless flirted to. Be sure to watch what you do around him, not to send messages that may disappoint him later. Become closer friends with the boy you don't choose, if possible. This way, if you start dating N, R won't be as hurt since he knows you care about him, just in a different way. You could also introduce R to one of your gals and see if he's interested in her.
