Hey! That's really cool that we're the same age and everything. My birthday is on Monday, actually. And I live in Maryland. That must really stink having people judge you like that. I know the feeling. I go to to a private Catholic school that is considered to be one of the best in the country, and people always assume that because of that, I'm really religious and snobby because I go to a good private school. But the reason I go to private school in the first place is because the public high school I would have to go to is really bad. People think I must be rich, but I'm not! My parents only pay a little over hald of the tutition because my mom is currently unemployed. I actually don't like my school at all, but I'd rather go there than go to the public school I'd have to go to. But I really wish people wouldn't assume that I'm a snobby spoiled rich girl. A lot of the people in my school are, but I'm not like that at all.

Thnks for commenting about the wii fit scale thing on my profile!! Its nice to know i wasnt the only one who this was happening too. But you are sooo right about it not being the number but about how you feel and how healthy you are. I mean so many girls are falling into crash diets and eating disorders and feeling miserable because they think that they have to be a certain weight or size. Everybody is beautiful and special in thier own way and i know that it sounds cheesey but it is absolutley positively true!

♥ I used to be really shy also, but once I hit 6th grade and started middle school, I was alot more outgoing and talkative and made more friends. I did this by raising my hand more in classes, complimenting people, and so on. You could try the same!
-If you want to get closer to your friends, I suggest a sleepover! You guys could play would you rather, truth or dare, or even truth or truth! At sleepovers girls tend to open up more, and that just makes everyone feel that much closer.
♥ For conversation with your gal pals, try and bring up topics, like that crazy dream you had last night, or that new makeup line, or if your friends are interested, talk about that science article you read that talks about some crazy revelation.
♥ It would be totally cool if you called this guy and asked to hang out! My BGF likes it when girls take charge for once and call him or ask him to hang out.
-For what to do on your 'hanging out' date, maybe you could go to the park and he could show you how to shoot some hoops. Or you guys could go rock climbing! If you don't really want to be one-on-one, since it could get awkward, invite a group of people to the park or libraary (more fun than it seems.. so many ways to goof around!). This way, the conversation never stops!
♥ At lunch, you don't have to sit with the people from your chem. class. I wouldn't, since they are so rude. Maybe you could talk to someone in the hall, and sit with them, or sit with someone you kind of know, and better get to know her.
-If you do end up staying at the table where the kids from your chem. class sit, when someone says that you took their spot just shrug and say "sorry!"
-For conversation starters, maybe ask some would you rather questions. After everyone at the table answers, people will most likely start asking why you chose that.
-Or, talk about what happened in chem. class. Like, "OMG did you see what Mr. teacher did!" or "I totally don't get the whole (insert something you are doing in class) thing!" or "That homework is going to be ea-sy!" or even "ugh, that homework is soooo hard!!"

Oh that's ok. I know the olympics was all screwed up!!! My spring break doesn't start till next week. The last week in March I mean. Ummmm no I don't think I'm going anywhere........ you??? We were going to go to Hawaii or Florida but it didn't work out. I'm probably going to get caught up on my reading and sleeping in. My mom and I are probably going to play tennis too!!! Laughing

Yea, I have!!! Well, probably the couples skating thingy. I love watching it when there's 2 people on the ice!!! But I hate that they don't do one sport at a time and they just keep going from skiing to skating and stuff you know?

It's ok. I rant to people all the time. I think you should forget about her and just find some other people to hang out with. She apparently doesn't want to hang out with you so just let your friendship drift apart. Just don't make any plans with her unless it's her idea to make them. If she doesn't follow through, just tell yourself that you gave her a chance but she's not worth the frusration. You deserve better friends in your life than her so go out and find them! Laughing

Have you ever seen the movie Leggaly Blond?? It is amazing! I just watched it for the first time and I can't believe I waited this long to watch it!!! I love Ell!!!!!!! She's amazing!!!!! People always say "Oh getting into vet school is going to be really hard so I hope you know what you're getting yourself into" and I know that's it's not going to be a walk in the park! But I really want this and I just wish people could except that. Sorry I'm telling you all this but you seem like a really nice person that I can tell things to! Laughing

I think he might feel the same way, i mean, u never know, boys dont really show there emotions, sorry i couldnt answer this sooner, but next time u see him at lunch, u should try to talk to him! I know ur at opposite sides of the table, but if you see him b4 lunch by any chance, ask if u can sit by him, casually, dont act nervous either, act like talkin to him is totally normal!!!!! yep i passed pre-juv and im testing juv in february!!! good luck on yours!!! my coach is kinda the same way........ya same with me. I only get a 30 min. lesson per week i wish i could do more but its SOOO expensive!!! and nope i dont really like freestyle......i can do it but i dont like it. and im kinda learning an axel but i dont have it. i physically cant jump cuz of my knees and hips though.....its kinda sad lol that sounds like fun!!! i thought that my club should do that but if you met the ppl in my club, you would know that it mite not work.....

and i havent spun in FOREVER!!! i used to be able to do scratch, back, change foot, kinda a sit, layback and camel. o and i can do a flying sit kinda......theyre SO MUCH FUN!!!!

hey i saw what you asked the mod and i can relate my mom doesn't like anything for Christmas all she does is read so i made her a scrap book you can get some good deals and i got all the scrap booking supplies for under $20 including the book i have a colored printer at home but if you don't i am sure a near by store would have a photo center and my mom loved it and just ask her to take you to the mall to get her a gift she'll understand

I know! I hate gelatin so I much. So, I guess marshmellows belong to the meat group. I love vegetarian marshmellows though because they have no gelatin. I try to educate people about gelatin. Its so disgusting!

omg i have the same problem with dating!!! i am 13 and i am athletic (play field hockey) and also a musician (flute and the school play ---> lead!!) and i've been asked out twice, but of course they weren't people i wanted to go out with. nobody EVER asks me out anymore and idk why! i am outgoing and not mean!!

hey girl i read about you being homeschooled. ive been in public school my whole life and im starting high school this year. you usually just walk into the classroom and the teacher will either tell you where to sit or theyll tell you to sit anywhere. after that, they usually introduce themselves and they have everyone introduce themselves as well. just be quiet when the teacher talks and listen to what they have to say and youll be fineSmile
